Epitome of failure in every single way. They truly know how to let everyone down, whether this is foster carers, kids, or anyone else who encounters them. Absolutely abysmal, and full of bigwigs who have no time for children or those who care for them which is utterly disgraceful.

See my review on Adult Social Care's page I have also found them to lie, make racist assumptions, libel and harass. Both Children's and Adult Social Care though I have met a few decent people over the years working with children as a result of baseless referrals to them of my child bu malicious individuals and busy bodies.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. I was working with June mckenzie. She lied about factor spoken over me then closed my case without even talking to other professionals or sending then a report . Wrote up a report that was completely wrong. There was 14 point that was completely incorrect.I rang the office 8 times and got told her manager would call me back and I’m still waiting. Bloody joke I’ll be back on the phone tomorrow. I got a meeting with my own solicitor now.

Words alone cannot portray how pitifully inept, corrupt and utterly useless Forest of dean children's services are. The forest of dean is cursed with having what is undoubtedly the worst children's services department in the country, they are a pathetic disgrace. They are beyond hope and redemption. Google 'The tory government that failed it's children' they just get worse and worse!!, scandalous!!!!!Look out for a upcoming online forum being set up for the public to share information regarding the dangers of dealing with Forest of dean children's services and expose there deep levels of ineptitude and corruption! ;)

Indeed they really are very poor, and I write this as a retired local authority employee, if you are lucky enough to get hold of someone they take down your concerns - this is for someone that we hold power of attorney for - and promise to get back to you later in the day, but they never do - two weeks, and we are still waiting for the return call. I’m also experiencing problems with their invoicing, we only receive reminders and threats of legal proceedings, but we never receive the initial invoice - this has happened with every invoice - they say that it must have got lost in the post.

This is not a new review. I keep updating it to show I don't forgetOur son is now 32. At age 17 he ran away from home on an internet romance but the family in question did not permanently house him nor co-operate with us in any way. Instead of sending him home to his family Gloucestershire Social Services placed him in a dingy basement room in the centre of Gloucester, and this was despite intervention from our (then) MP George Osborne. I travelled to Westgate Street from Cheshire and was treated with ridicule by a Michael Oseni and another - maybe this name is familiar to you also. We had to use a Private Detective to find him and eventually bring him home. I hired a van and found they had moved him into a shabby 2nd floor apartment. The walls and window frames covered in mould and the front kitchen wooden panel was exposed to the road. Most of his furniture was not worth moving. Thankfully there was a nearby skip. He has been an assistant Bank Manager in Cheshire, and now in Insurance, so he is no dead-leg and never was, but Gloucester Social Services were not prepared to discuss anything with us despite him only being SEVENTEEN when he left home. This is one family that doesn't forget all involved in this whole affair. His late grandma, his grandfather, his brother, his mother and myself went through sheer hell. Time does not heal what we endured. We still bide our time what we went through, and remember all involved with total contempt. I agree with all of the other reviews. They are extremely corrupt and have caused me, an extremely caring mother, months of emotional harm. I hope, at last, I have found someone helpful. The Child Protection conference was nothing other than a kangaroo court.Nobody returns calls.They are a complete waste of taxpayers' money.

if i could have put 0 starts i would have. the social worker we will call her T who was supposed to safeguard my daughter has made multiple failings. she was attacked once and no safeguard was put in place which lead to another attack so my daughter had to flee Gloucester and come up north. wile awaiting transfer up here the case wasn't left with a duty social worker who could have carried on with the case, wile T was on leave putting my daughter in a position with nowhere to live pregnant and vulnerable, conversations are met with someone who talks over you so you don't have a chance to speak even her manager said he can see there's been failings.this isnt safeguarding and support its finger pointing and just a job to them!

Steer clear of Rowan Green (Stroud team) and Lily Gale (Cheltenham team), both of Glos Children's Services. They look for ways to split a family up rather than help keep them together. No support whatsoever. Also they falsify their section 7 reports and judges pretend not to notice. All as corrupt as each other only interested in closing ranks, social engineering and abusing innocent children. To coin an overused phrase if I could have given minus zero stars, I would have done.

Absolute shambles. And the lady that I have managed to speak to today was completely uncaring and only wanted to get her view across. ReD the reviews on here gcc.
