Parkdean Resorts Tummel Valley Holiday Park, Perthshire

I stayed in a lodge and it was lovely. Warm, clean and plenty of room for 4 tall adults. We ate at the restaurant every evening and the food was lovely with very good table service. The location is right next to the river with amazing views out the lodge. We were an hour and 45 away from the base of Ben Nevis and only a short drive away from the queen's view. Will definately return to explore this picturesque part of the country

We enjoyed good stay at Parkdean Resorts Tummel Valley Holiday Park, Perthshire. The caravan was kept spic& clean when we entered. Check in & check out were hassle free. Environment is also very clean. The restaurant & bar are also good

Avoid caravan 126. It was clean but smelly and I didn't find out until I was clearing the bed of the bed linen that it had bedbugs. I thought I had midge bites! All I got was a letter thanking them for highlighting the issues, I hoped for a letter telling me what had actually been done to put the caravan right! Nairn and Grannies are top class; these guys should take lessons from them. this was my 2nd visit it will also be my last.

It was my mum and dad 60th wedding anniversary it was a surprise for them with 25 of us staying in 6 caravans We stayed at Tummel valley in Sep. The staff were absolutely brilliant shona from the office could not do enough for us.from start to Finnish. As for the other office lady. Frank in the chippy was brilliant too offered to help carry the chippy to the caravan with my husband.And the bar staff especially the girl can't remember her name she was brilliant. They gave my mum and dad a complementary drink and a Teddy each for their anniversary. We had a fantastic weekend everyone enjoyed it.we will definitely be back.Thanks for making our stay great.Reid and Hossack families.

Beautiful location! First time I have stayed in a caravan and cannot fault it.There was a small issue with the boiler however we had staff with us within 5 minutes and the problem resolved. Shower was hot and really powerful. Staff are friendly and helpful.Would not hesitate to come back xx

Stayed here twice now. Staff are great and so friendly and accommodating. It seems a happy place to work and stay. We didn't have children but still enjoyed the staff entertainment in the evening for kids. Good clean family fun, the pants flinging contest was a great but simple idea the kids loved it! Park is immaculate, lovely location and good food in the club house too. 11 out of 10 Tummel Valley park we had a great stay. We shall return!

About the park- we didn’t really use the facilities, we ate in the restaurant once but this was a bit bland and required a lot of ketchup to make edible however the house sodas were really tasty. The food in the shop was definitely inflated because of the importing of the goods but £5 for a jar of sauce? No thanks. The caravan was clean, modern and what we ordered. Only a slight leak on the ceiling fan when it was raining (and I don’t mean a little bit of rain either)The water is safe to drink but I would seriously recommend taking drinking water because it was BROWN.No obvious drop key box- we left at 0700 and just had to post it through the reception letterbox and hope for the best.The location is a bit in the middle of no where and if you’re like us and like exploring, the long windy roads can become tedious.But that being said:We used this as a base to travel far afield, and I really do mean far!!We made it to the top of the country (John O Groats only 205miles away lol)Nearby-Queens view only about 6 miles away, a beautiful view over a loch.Based near to Pitlochry- a small village with a few nice shops, go and try a hot chocolate at the visitors centre (i promise it’s worth it)If you’re visiting during autumn check out the enchanted forest at Faskally forest.House of Bruar and falls of Bruar were definitely a highlight.Lovely walks in Killiecrankie too.

The caravan was clean and well equipped.We didn't use the leisure pool however the facilities looked good. We went to the entertainment hub one evening for a Motown night. We enjoyed the night and drinks prices were average.The location is spectacular, especially with Autumn colours and full rivers. It is quite remote (26mile roundtrip to Pitlochry) however there are many lovely walks within 15minutes drive of the park.

Bad service extremely rude reception team and I mean bad! Looked at you like an alien after a 6 hour drive to arrive to check in because after numerous emails telling me to check in at reception it was apparently obvious I needed to check in at the bar??? No hot water or heating no one answering phones and then told they are too busy to answer the phone yet I never saw another person in reception once! Bar team were really bad, the 2 girls were good but the guys were awful and we had extremely bad stomach every time we ate there and they only had about 4 things available on the menu. Every time we went out we came back to our furniture rearranged? No security and windows just pushed or pulled open nothing really worked even the fridge and boiler leaks constantly I certainly wouldn't recommend it but it is a beautiful area in Scotland!
