Best bike shop in the area. Knowledgable, friendly and helpful staff. The guy who fixed my bike is a bike wizard and managed to find a good solution on the spot for my unusual custom bike's issue using some spare second hand parts he had in the back. All for a reasonable price.

Took my cargo bike here for a hub service and they were so welcoming and helpful. Thomas was clearly very knowledgeable and it was a great experience - would recommend and I'll be back!Thanks Thomas!

The best bike shop ever! The kindest staff, especially Michael who let me in right at closing time as I had a puncture halfway home and didn't know what to do. They also gave me some great advice about my bike in general, as someone who cycles every day but is hopeless with maintenance. Reasonable prices and a puncture repair was cheaper than evans and Halfords! Much cooler than the big chains in the shop too!

These guys are absolute legends. I arrived 20 minutes before they closed on the bank holiday because I had an issue with my brakes on a ride. I expected to leave my bike with them for a few days but they fixed it there and then by replacing the brake pads and I was back on my bike straight away. Brought in my sons bike today for the very first time. Shane was very welcoming, pleasant to talk to and very informative. A lovely store with amazing staff who make everyone feel at ease and offer the best of services with great prices. Definitely my go to as of today.

We have been going to the Battersea workshop for bike services and repairs for the past few years. I can't recommend them enough. They know their onions, are very courteous and give great advice. Every issue my husband and I have had with our bikes has been repaired in a reasonable timeframe and at a fair price.As a woman who has cycled in London for 20 years, I was long ignored and patronised by men working in cycle stores. It is such a great experience to feel welcome in a cycle workshop that treats all customers with the same friendly service.

Spectacular Service! An absolute gem of customer service and speed. I got in a real muddle where I literally had to carry my bike there today and while I ride frequently I have not looked after it at all. But instead of getting the looks I was expecting (and deserved); I got a great explanation of what could have prevented my dilemma. In addition to fixing the big issues, I got a full service and all of that in one day! The ride home felt like on a new bike! Thank you to the whole team!

Took my bike for a much needed checkup / service on Saturday, on Wednesday I collected it and now it feels like a brand new bike for a very reasonable price. Very happy, thank you :)

Rather than buying a new bike I asked LCW to take my nice steel frame and rebuild everything else around it. They did it really quickly, lent me a courtesy bike for a couple of days during the process, charged fairly and transparently, and generally were a pleasure to deal with. Basically your ideal Local Bike Shop right there!

I recently had the pleasure of picking up my brand-new custom build Condor Fratello from the Battersea branch of TLCW, which was lovingly built by Shane.I took him my new frame, loosely described what I was after and gave him carte-blanche to design and build the bike as he saw fit. I could not be happier or more impressed with what he created. He made great suggestions for the all the new components which also were fantastic value and he’s a really nice chap to boot! Having been on the bike every day for the last two weeks since picking it up, it runs beautifully and is an absolute joy to ride. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would, thank you to Shane and TLCW. Happy riding!
