Parliament House Hotel

I had a pleasant stay at the Parliament House Hotel.The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early after an early morning flight.The hotel is clean, quiet, and centrally located; an easy walk to city center and the tram station.The breakfast was very good, and made to order.The only drawback is that there are many stairs for anyone that minds them.Overall I’d highly recommend it

Wow! This hotel is a hidden gem. Comfortable. Clean. In a GREAT location. The staff is kind and helpful. Booked directly with them for a great price (highly recommend). Bathrooms are updated and large. Beds were some of the most comfortable we stayed in while traveling in Europe. 10/10

Lovely hotel, comfy rooms and good breakfast - would have been 5 stars if its own restaurant was open for dinner, but there are excellent ones nearby. Really excellent full Scottish Breakfast.

Decent hotel in great central location. However, the mattress was terrible and too soft, the lift is non-existent in the building and the layout of the hotel is very odd - to get to my room I had to go up the stairs twice and then turn the corner and go down other stairs once. Overall an ok hotel in a fantastic location but not great value for money. For £150~ more, you can stay at the Balmoral (5 star hotel) down the road from here.

The room.was lovely. Quiet, clean, warm and with nice furnishings.Our room looked out to beautiful looking offices and the hills towards Leith.The TV wasn't working. We reported it but nothing was done, but we were only there for one night anyway, but would have thought they could have knocked a bit off our bill because the TV wasn't working, but they didn't It's always nice to watch a bit of the news or something.Breakfast was a seperate charge. Nearly £20 each for a breakfast.They don't do evening meals.The place is a bit hidden so took a while to find it on Google Maps.It is a beautiful small hotel and lovely inside but didnt find the receptionist very friendly.

We truly enjoyed our stay - the location is perfect, the room is clean, the breakfast is very good the hotel staff are nice. The only thing the hotel can improve on is lack of place in the bathroom to have guests put their own stuff on, just a few shelves will do. Highly recommend.

What a surprising gem this was. The location was perfect - walking distance from Edinburgh Waverly station, a minute's walk from the hop-on-hop-off bus stop, and at the foot of Calton Hill.The staff was efficient and welcoming and the ambience was true Scottish. Amazing place and a fantastic experience. Thank you for making our first experience so memorable

Stayed here for our visit to Edinburgh. Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We walked around Edinburgh a lot and found this hotel to be a great launching point and a pleasure to come back.
