My son Harvey attends the no 1 football academy every week and absolutely loves it. He takes part in the 1-2-1 sessions, the academy and select 24 and often attends the holiday camps where they can win fab prizes! He has developed as a player significantly in both skills and fitness thanks to the amazing coaching he receives. It definitely is the no 1 football academy!

I have recently rejoined DL and I'm so pleased to be back. The staff are lovely & friendly, and the array of classes is wonderful. There's always something to find around working commitments. The swimming pools both indoors and out are clean and inviting. As a single member and given that it's the summer holidays, I haven't found it too busy with children. The allocation of adult/child times clearly helps. The gym is vast with good amount of equipment/floor space. There are plenty of lockers & showers and the cleaners work hard to maintain a good clean standard. My only little criticism was the food/service (on one occasion). It arrived with missing ingredients and it took a time for my drink to arrive. Once raised the issue was rectified. On the whole, I'm loving being back and would highly recommend DL.

I regularly visit the Westbury club in particular with my family. My son attends The No.1 Football Academy and absolutely loves it there. The coaches are professional and friendly and create a fantastic atmosphere. Myself and my partner also use the gym together and attend a variety of classes which we enjoy. Joel on reception is also very friendly and helpful when needed, especially when we were trying to navigate the app for the first time.A fantastic place to enjoy as a family with a good balance. The coaches Michael, Connall and Rat are a credit to David Lloyd and they are great to have around the club. My son has progressed massively within his football and has gained lots of friends through attending the academy.The half term camps they run are great and the food the academy provide at lunch time on camps is fantastic thanks to Charlie on F&B at David Lloyd.The football academy is the main reason we joined David Lloyd as members and it was the best decision we have made.Thank you.

Not once have I been to this club to find everything is working. There is always something wrong and always an excuse. Feedback is ignored and the staff (particularly the gym team) have no respect for your workout space. Often getting in the way with no acknowledgement whatsoever. If you are new to the gym there is never any support on hand, if you are an experienced gym goer you won't be able to stick to your routine due to the ill maintained equipment. You'd be better off investing in a good home gym set up. At least that way you can change the AA batteries in the back of the assault bikes yourself and have a warm shower after. Embarrassment of a facility.

An extraordinary place to spend quality time for you as an individual whether it's sports with the latest equipment or relaxation in the pool , spa area, with wonderful sports designed for children, the best football academy or tennis ,swimming...

Easy to join but difficult to leave. David Lloyd clubs have ridiculous and unfair membership policies which should be illegal.Sadly the local leisure centres are too crowded. So these soulless places are the only other option for indoor exercise.And classes are often oversubscribed. Due to work commitments, I was rarely able to book classes 8 days in advance. And even then might miss out. And I noticed some people went to classes all week and booking in advance so hogging spaces. So ridiculous. Pay £140 a month and can’t even get classes! Some classes low quality anyway. Particularly yoga and Pilates are not long enough and often packed in like sardines.I’v now moved to another town which has a lovely, clean, well equipped, and friendly leisure centre. Swim, classes, gym for £45 a month. Leave any time!Sadly D Lloyd is just a sad PLC, set about extracting much as possible to the detriment of people’s welfare. Ironic really.

LOVED my experience at David Lloyd Westbury last week. Sales manager (I think her name is Christina?) was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The outdoor pool is the perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon with or without the kids, and the food was a big win with the family!!!... And I even braved the plunge pool for some cold therapy.
