I took a bridesmaid dress and requested to alter it. I explained what I wanted and he immediately understood what I needed, and he didn’t even need to check the size. The job was absolutely perfect and delivered exactly when expected! Thank you very much, will definitely use this service again!

I can't praise this tailor enough. Two days before my daughters wedding we discovered that the dress that had fitted fine a few weeks early was suddenly 'hanging' off her. The original dressmaker was unavailable - hence the early last fitting, but this kind tailor took pity on us and managed to alter the dress within a day!!The alterations made the dress fit perfectly and saved the day. I can't recommend their work enough, so friendly, helpful and certainly know their trade.

This used to be a brilliant tailors, with the initial owner top notch. However, it seems to have changed ownership - I couldn't get a straight answer as to whether it had when I asked - and it seems to be no where near as good now. Shame.

Put two evening dresses in to be shortened with one also having some securing stitches put at the top of the leg slit. On collection, one had had only part of the hem shortened, the middle portion totally missed off, and the other had not had the securing stitches put at the top of the leg slit.The dresses were both handed back, folded together, in the one small plastic bag; the dresses had not been steamed after being scrunched up during the tailoring processes.I would not use again

Good quality, friendly and quick service. The trousers i took to them were tailored perfectly and they finished the work in time for me to take them on holiday. £20 per pair of trousers, very reasonable for adjusting the waistband and taking up the hem.

I was a customer for the past 5 years. The reason I'm saying I was, has to be for the worst possible service I ever had, the Owner used to be my favourite tailor but since he passed the shop to his employees they have already ruined two brand new designer trousers. Today was the last time I went there. I am not even going hack to ask for my money back but instead I prefer to let you all know to save your time and money and don't step in that shop.

Top shelf service, Habib is always very welcoming and always assists any enquiries/questions I have regarding any work that needs doing. Any work I have had done there is extremely well done and has earned a repeat customer.

Don’t bother .Took 2 bridesmaids dresses for altering, left at the end of April and was told it would be ready on 30th May. Turned up on the 31st to collect the dresses, and was told ‘I have just seen your dresses downstairs and I’m going to start them today’. These dresses had been there for 5 weeks and not even started.Told to collect them that afternoon; so I was worried all day about it being a rushed job.One dress was fine, the other didn’t look like it had been altered at all, so yet again had to wait hours to collect it later on in the day and weren’t even offered to try it on, practically shooed out of the shop.Such a joke , for what should be a professional service just gave me more work when I could have gone somewhere else, where I definitely would have got a more professional service.

Do not use this place- do you even specialise in tailoring or are you just a “jack of all trades” Absolutely disgusted and ruined my bridesmaid dress, initial customer service was great, but phone calls promised and never returned, dress was not ready in time and over a week late and worst part is the dress was completely ruined too much taken off to what was agreed, front and back were different lengths. A refund was requested to which the owner eventually called me about and kept cutting me off as we were speaking but then he was raising his voice, passive aggressive and demanding/threatening telling me I will give your refund in cash and pick up the dress from your house tonight and if he doesn’t collect tonight I won’t get a refund, when I explained I am away for the week for the wedding. He thinks I’m trying to wear Their mashed up dress still, I now have to wear a completely different dress to all the bridesmaids because of their inexperienced tailor shop. and he then hung up the phone on and won’t answer my calls. What an absolute joke of a shop, thought supporting the smaller businesses in the current climate was the right approach but clearly this is not appreciated by this particular shop and it’s owner.
