I am really pleased with my new curtains . I have a bit of an eye for detail and they are really well made, accurate to the measurements given and match my bedroom perfectly. Would not hesitate to recommend Heather .

Called in looking some fabric to cover a footstool and discovered a real gem. This is one of those fabric shops that you just don’t find anymore. I got great help and advice and found some lovely fabric for my project. There was a great range of furnishing and dressmaking fabrics and I’ll definitely be back! Whilst I was there a lady picked up a beautiful bridesmaid dress that had been made for her and another lady was having a lesson in store. It’s a real hive of activity and the service I received was excellent (despite my taking ages to choose my fabric).

Fantastic service. Dropped an item off for a difficult repair in early afternoon. Met by Heather who was polite, friendly and Covid aware. Got a call the next morning to say item was fixed and ready for collection! Absolutely brilliant service and would give more stars if I were able to! Local business at it's best.

Contacted heather late in the evening for help solving my partners dress crisis which was for a wedding the next morning. Heather went out of her way to help solve the dress issue and i can not thank her enough. Very helpful, highly recommend

This is a great local shop for fabrics, alterations and commissioned pieces. There's always a warm welcome, whether you're looking for something in particular, just wanting a browse round, or need some sewing help. Heather is proficient and very knowledgeable. She has bags of experience, and does her utmost to make sure that the customer gets exactly what they want, and at a reasonable price.There are regular workshops, and even sewing machine service/repair!I would highly recommend Heather, she's a great teacher, passionate about her craft and gives sensible advise. - you won't be disappointed.
