First class riding school and liveryAfter a sad year we lost poor Billy, despite the amazing care and expertise from Ellie Jenny and Natalie. We now have Polly who is being trained to meet my disability and needs. Both Mary and Polly are in the best hands ever, good grazing and very happy horses. Lock down was a difficult time, but with excellent organisation from and Ellie and the staff we were all able to visit our horses. I was shielding and given special consideration on visiting my horses. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you Ellie and for the staff who keep eating my chocolate cakes.

A fantastic family friendly riding centre and superb livery yard. I started riding here almost 14yrs ago and after the first lesson I was hooked. Soon after I bought my first horse, Gunner, with help from Mrs Evans, the owner. Mrs Evans helped ensure that Gunner was right for me and me for him. Manston Riding Centre is well laid out and has two wash rooms, secure tack rooms, two floodlit schools (with show jumps available), turn out fields, local hacking and the benefit of having the owner on Site. MRC is also covered by CCTV. Mrs Evans and the Team are very knowledgeable and are always there to help. The horses and ponies, within both the school and the livery, are well cared for. My daughter and I have all had different types of lessons here. They offer private lessons and group lessons, both of which are great value for money. I would definitely recommend Manston Riding Centre for lessons and for livery.

This place is awesome. Friendly team that are very accommodating to big groups. Horses where lovely and i fell in love with my horse (Sam) very good beginners lesson i felt very safe. Highly recommend

As a fairly new rider, Manston has been a dream centre to begin my riding journey. Instructor Jen distils a lifetime of expertise into fun and practical exercises in every lesson. The horses are all happy and healthy, each with their unique personality. The rest of the team has always been friendly and made me feel welcomed. It is a joy to ride at Manston, and I look forward to continuing to develop my skills here.

Excellent livery yard with professional qualified team offering support and care to horses and owners alike. 24/7 on site supervision. Facilities include turnout, use of two arenas and if you are busy at work the team will assist with vet, farrier & dentist visits and can muck your horse out for you and exercise it.

This is a lovely place to ride - the friendly, professional Instructors cater for every level of rider from absolute beginners to those more experienced. They have made riding fun for our family; so much so that we are now proud owners of two horses!Pony days during the school holidays are a must and birthday parties are easily arranged ; the team arranged a fantastic gymkhana for our daughter and her friends last year.

DO NOT LIVERY HERE. I don’t know about riding lessons but I kept my horse here and he was NEVER turned out! There were always at least three ponies in a tiny ‘field’ (smaller than the arena) which was completely covered in poo and extremely dusty! And four horses kept in the arena overnight. Every time I asked for my horse to go out it was a no, and I wasn’t allowed up twice a day so could only muck him out once... I was told that if he goes out it’s too much hassle for me to bring him in and ride him!! I was paying to have him turned in and out! After I challenged this I was called selfish(for wanting my horse turned out), and the owner told me she wasn’t arguing with a child (I’m 20), and I was given one day to leave (on a Sunday) so had to find somewhere very quickly, not that I wanted to be up there another second. The “friendly” staff treated me like I was an inconvenience and like they were doing me a favour (young staff were nice). It’s a shame as I chose the yard because of how friendly the owner was when I first met her. As soon as my horse got there everything changed. I Wish I could get my money back, but glad my horse is so much happier now. Unless you want no control over what happens with your horse don’t livery here.

5* livery I brought my horse from manston ridding centre just over 2 years ago and I can not say a bad word about them. The staff are amazing and treat all the horses like there own and if I can’t manage to get there to muck out I only have to ask and they are more then happy to help. There is also a tack shop on site so I I run out of anything I don’t have to worry.i could not ask for a better stables. My daughter also has ridding lessons every week and she loves it she has learnt so much. Ellie the owner is so friendly and will answer any questions i may have about my horse I would highly recommend this ridding school.
