Fabulous quaint clean and very attentive staff. Delicious food and a great breakfast. Well worth a stay they even cater for your dog.

Bishopsgate House Hotel
There are only 10 rooms in this place. Unfortunately, we got the double room at the top of the Victorian house. It was the one overlooking the main road and so was noisy. As the temperature was in the 30's with the windows closed, we were forced to open the small window, meaning the traffic noise was very intrusive.HOWEVER, breakfast was lovely, and dinner was A*Staff were efficient and friendly. I cannot say enough about dining here. Well worth the money.

My friend and I by chance called in on New Year’s Eve for the availability of a meal. The lovely landlady informed us that the restaurant was full but she would make room in the bar for us if we would like to join in the celebrations whilst eating.The food was delicious I had the vegetarian option and my friend had the pie dish of the day. Both meals were delicious, puddings also.The whole atmosphere was 5 star ⭐️ thanks to all the staff who were both friendly and accommodating. As a result we had a lovely New Year’s Eve.I would recommend visiting Bishopgate to everyone. You will enjoy delicious food in a welcoming and friendly setting.Thank you again to all the team

Did not stay here but had an evening meal. Staff were friendlyvand service was good. Food was delicious. The waitress brought our bill without asking if everything was OK or did we want anything else which I did not care for. Seemed like she wanted to make sure we paid.

Bishopsgate House Hotel
Quiet dining room, with soft music, mainly older clientele. The food was simply superb, cooked to order, so the choice is a drink in the bar or a wait with nibbles. We had a selection of delicious breads with oil. My Mediterranean tart (vegetarian) was probably the best I have ever eaten. It came with potatoes cooked in herbs. We had additional vegetables, cooked to perfection. Not at all expensive.

Although a hotel, we used the restaurant on our visit. Good varied menu, normal priced for this type of dining. Not a fast food type eatery. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our visit. Would recommend the restaurant.

Bishopsgate House Hotel
Had a lovely couple of days here. Room 10 was warm, spotlessly clean, and a comfortable bed. Kind, friendly, and helpful staff. The food was outstanding and would definitely stay again.
