Popped in for lunch today and had Baked Camembert and Chorizo Bites between my partner and I. Wow, cooked, looked and tasted amazing. Staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommend anyone to visit. Will definitely be calling again as soon as we can.

Really pleased that my local has finally got owners with character, charisma and customer service. The new menu is brilliant and it's great to have some good veggie options at long last! Can't wait to return - thanks Chris and the team!

Had lunch there. Didn't book but no problem with a table. Service was great, staff really friendly and food was top-notch. Can recommend 'pie of the day' especially if it's steak and ale. The burger was also delicious. Can totally recommend!

Good friendly service, pub was a bit chilly as all the outside doors were open, it was a sunny day but not very warm.Reasonable menu choice could have done with salads and some light bites, found it quite expensive too. We did enjoy what we had and it was filling.

Friendly atmospheric pub.The staff is friendly and make you welcome. There are plenty of spaces indoors and a lovely outdoor area near a river.Pop along and enjoy the nice weather with a drink with friends outdoors, or sit inside on a wet cold day and play some board games while drinking away.

Visited a couple of weeks ago as a walk in for a Sunday roast. We were sceptical that we’d get a table with it being a Sunday. It was busy but Chris managed to secure us a table for two. Both had the lamb, it was everything and more! Tender, tasty and top quality. Hats off to the chef and Chris and the team. Would definitely recommend

Very friendly place ,good service and large portions of excellent Sunday roast beef and veges and all the trimmings ,we thoroughly enjoyed our meal in a comfortable and lovely setting ,we could see the river. .We liked the ambiancePlenty of room between tables and comfortable seating ,pleasant decor all add to a lovely dining experience .Will return thankyou to you all .

Delightful establishment! My fiancee and I were in the area last week visiting family and decided to pop in here on a whim. The food and service were top class, especially the chicken parmo which came recommended by the chef. A special mention to the owner Chris,who went out of his way to ensure our evening went so well! Keep up the good work Chris!!!
