M D S Painting and Decorating

Matt and Martin have just redecorated our hall, stairs and landing and we so happy with the results. The guys are extremely professional & knowledgeable painters, but are also a pleasure to have in your home for a week! They left the place spotless every evening and the whole project has massively exceeded our expectations. Have already recommended Matt and MDS to friends and look forward to them returning for our next project.

My partner and I cannot recommend MDS enough. From Matt's communication to the work that Martin completed (with the support of Matt on one of the days), it was superb. We had our hall stripped of remaining wallpaper, all prep work done, lining paper put up and painted along with all the doors and woodwork and our second room with an amazing feature wall. Martin was always on time or early without fail, always happy to tell us what he was doing and how the work was going. He was brilliant at tidying work areas at the end of every day which was highly appreciated and a sign of good workmanship. The end product is absolutely stunning and has breathed life into what was a drab and miserable part of our house. Thank you so much Martin and we hope you enjoyed Harry Potter World. We are also looking at booking Matt and Martin again to paint the exterior of our house. 10/10 would recommend.

Matt and his team have not long completed the interior of our whole house after a very competitive quote given. We are very impressed with the quality and detail of all paint work finished to a very high standard. Matt is very reliable, punctual and friendly along with Martin from his team. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them and at the end of every day the house was left clean and tidy.We also decided to change the colour of our kitchen cupboards, Matt took all the doors and drawers from the house and was able to prepare, prime and spray paint them, the finish is very impressive!!Would absolutely recommend MDS for anyone looking for painter and decorator.Thanks again Matt & Martin

Matt took time to understand our needs and despite prices going up, he stuck to his quote.They arrived on time and began work promptly. The preparation was thorough and the finished work was very professional and neat. Our house now looks very smart and bright.

Matt painted the ceilings, walls and woodwork in two kids rooms as well as hanging wallpaper. The work was great quality and he was really considerate whilst he was in the house including doing quieter jobs during kids nap times. He came to give us a quote quickly and left the house tidy and clean at the end of each day. I'd definitely recommend him

We’ve had the upstairs of our cottage decorated with MDS. We would ordinarily do decorating ourselves but after a bit of work on the house it seemed like an overwhelming prep job. We definitely felt we needed the professionals. I spoke to Matt about the house and he understood that it was an old property and would need some prep to shine it up but that we wanted to retain the character too. Once a date was in the diary, Matt sent Martin across to do the job for the date we agreed. Professional is what we got. Martin showed up bang on time every day and put in a full shift. He was a really nice chap to have around and went about his business in an efficient and unobtrusive way. He left the site clean and clear every day. He was positive and helpful throughout. The final result is amazing. He’s taken our wonky and pitted walls and worked his magic and it seemed to happen very quickly. The walls look new but retain all of the charm of an old cottage. He got the balance just right. We really would highly recommend the team. While it was on the higher end of quotes we got for the job, I would say it was worth every penny for the experience and care taken. If you want a fuss free experience and first class result then go for it.

Best Experience ever-MDS decorating service just completed a Job for me in my new property, very very impressed. For someone who normally tackles decorating tasks myself! I opted for the professionals I had heard of the good work from friends locally and had looked online for local decorating companies and found MDS Highly responsive and helpful in obtaining a quote and completing work within our deadline. Multiple Jobs; inc feature wallpaper in different rooms and F&B paint in 2 rooms, found all staff including Matt /Martin very friendly and knowledgeable in their field of work, efficient and couldn’t do enough- I Would recommend them to anyone and getting them back for some more work in new year.
