Riverside Caravan Park

Had a very pleasant two night stay, wish we had booked longer.Family run, very friendly and helpful.Facilities immaculate!!.Lovely town, with lots of independent shops and cafe etcLovely walks as it's a central point.Look forward to coming back again.

Excellent location and an adult only site. 7 minutes walk to the Red Dragon Inn. Various independent shops within the square. First rate butchers. Lovely bakery and coffeeshops.The Riverside Caravan Park is an excellent location to stay and there are plenty of walks to do starting from the site. It is well policed and maintained. The shower and toilet blocks are always clean and well presented. Hopefully in time, Alex will be able to convert some of the grass pitches into hard standing. A little soft underfoot at present due to the inclement weather.

Lovely quite adult's only site. Very clean toilets and showers. 5 minutes walk to Village of Crickhowell.

Lovely campsite In Crickhowell Wales. Great walks and short walk to the independent shops and pubs for food and drink.

Fabulous. Great location near the river, the walks, the town with its myriad of cafés shops and pubs. Great facilities, spotlessly clean. Mature hedgerows teeming with birds, I have no negative comments and hope to return some time soon. We have been away in our van on a 10 week trip stopping for 2-4 nights at various places. This is definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Wow, I've got to say that this is the cleanest & friendliest site I've ever been on. Alex who manages this site is fantasic. Nothing was too much trouble, always there to help.the views were amazing & the shower block facilities were spotlessly clean everyday. A massive 5☆....

Really if you could give more than top marks, this place would deserve it. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a perfect choice. This adults only site is immaculate, but the prettiness cannot compete with the stunning views in almost every direction. The famous Crickhowell bridge is around the corner and the river flanked by a lovely meadow for off lead dog walks. Up the hill is the town of Crickhowell itself with various pubs and some lovely shops. Crickhowell has bucked the high street trend and is full of independent shops and cafes. These off site facilities alongside immaculate facilities make the Riverside a perfect campground.

An absolute gem of a campsite! Beautiful location with great views, a few minutes walk from Crickhowell high street. Large grass or hard standing pitches with electric hookups and drinking water. Extremely well maintained, modern and immaculate toilets and shower rooms, a washing up room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and even a drying shed if you need it. Very peaceful and friendly, we had only booked for two nights but will definitely stay again. There are many beautiful walks nearby and Crickhowell itself is also lovely, many attractive shops and galleries to look around and great food in the local pubs, hotels and cafes. Children/groups are not allowed, but dogs are welcome.

What a lovely campsite and with friendly staff. The location by the village is perfect with a few restaurants and pubs to walk to. There are beautiful walks along the River Usk too. Will definitely be going back there next year.
