Visited on Saturday afternoon with my mum , we decided to order the carvery and were please . The yourkshire puddings were enormous when we tried them they tasted wonderful, I had gammon which was delicious and mum had turkey and beef, both of which were moist and well cooked. The range of vegetables was excellent and all cooked just so . Great value meal for anyone and there are 3 sizes in plates depending on your appetite. The restaurant is clean, well set out and comfortable . Staff were all very attentive and polite

Carvery was beautiful, one of the best we've had. The pub is set in a nice location as well. Staff were friendly although service in the play area could be improved. Was waiting over 10 minutes for a lemonade and when it came it was the wrong size. It was swapped and a correct size one was delivered to me, although this tasted like sparkling water. I eventually had to go to the bar to get it swapped myself. If using the play area, go to the bar, if you can for drinks as they don't have draught available in the play area.Overall a good experience and the kids loved the Wacky Warehouse, only £5 a child and they can play as long as they wish and come in and out.

Grown up family of 5 called for lunch on Monday, decent family meal, pub grub at a reasonable price. NHS discount applied, food gave no cause for complaint. Very good selection of drinks. Staff were friendly and thankfully fairly quiet. Loved the decor and the upper floor eating area

Popped in while on a visit with parents. We had a wonderful carvery. Lots of meat and a great array of vegetables. Great service polite and friendly helpful staff. The parents have been back for carvery and loved it. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

Cold carvery. It's not very nice.Child's food taken to kids play area and left there?When our 2 year old asked us to check her dinner ( Where is it ), We were told in no certain terms it's in the Wacky Warehouse.Were we meant to go and get it?We were sat in the main pub area.

We didn't eat, but the carvery looked good. A range of lagers but not much else. Probably good for the kids as they have a huge play area. Not a place to go if you just want a quiet drink. This is only my opinion, you may love it.

There was 3 adults and 13yr old after been told there would be a 40 min wait if ordering food this was @ 5pm anyway we said OK & for the starters we had 2 chilli/cheese chips with a tiny bits of scallion spring onion & 4 very thin slithers of red chilli's in a sauce & got 7 chips in a Bowl for £3-99 it was nice But very small portion & think a bit expensive for what it was ! Then I had the large mixed grill with the up graded extra rump steak £14-99 the chicken breast was very dry & over cooked burnt on the Underside & the steak asked for medium rare that was very very Tough even the steak knife couldn't even cut it after eating the rest I asked for a takeaway box to put the chicken & the Rump steak in to bring it home the sausage/pork steak chips onion rings & peas I ate & they was nice & I enjoyed them ! I did tell one of the waiting on staff about the steak & chicken and the Response i got was well we are busy & some of the kitchen staff we're New so the dog had the chicken & Sunday i minced the Rump steak & put machine potato on it & re cooked it & it tasted a lot better than it was the night before ! My friends both had the Carvery & they said it was absolutely delicious i wish that i had it also ! I won't be having a mixed grill there again will stick to what I know in future that will be a CARVERY

First visit. Wasn't sure if you were seated or not but you get your table and then order at the bar. Two carvery lunches. Mid week around noon and not busy.The food was hot and tasty. Plenty of parking on both sides of the building.

Great service with helpful and friendly staff, we hired the function room for a party, staff very attentive, the catered food was for planned for 20 guests but there was more than enough to feed double that number. Highly recommended!
