Climb Leicester - The Tower Climbing Centre

Excellent session. Booked an instructor-led session. Very well run and very enjoyable. Gained far more that would have in a free climbing session. Very engaging and friendly instructor. Will certainly book again.

Mid sized climbing wall. Bouldering: 4/10, there but nothing special and lacking. Leads: long overhang (~15m) well set, with mediocre top roped walls.Absolutely packed on weekends (0 free panels!!)8/10 for top ropes. Worth going if you're in the area but not worth a trip on its own.

Fantastic climbing centre with brilliant nicas training from excellent coaches. Very friendly and helpful. Most of my offspring have had climbing training here over the last 10 years and are now skilled competent climbers who can go out on their own. The youngest are near the start of their journey but love their climbing sessions and gaining skills and their awards.You can store your belongings in the climbing centre reception area, rent or buy equipment in the same place,watch people climbing the 40ft+ high walls. There is a great high wall climbing area with chimneys and overhangs with regular route changes. There is also a block with lower walls for the younger climber and fingerboards for adult training.

Centre Is great for what it is and the pricing is very competitive.Generally the staff are helpful and very knowledgeable, however on my last visit i was met but a staff member who was really argumentative over me being safer.As an ex-instructor (Many moons ago) The fundamentals and practices have unchanged. I'm currently in the process of teaching my 4 year old daughter to climb and to be as safe and efficient in her climbing as can be.The staff member i had the unfortunate encounter with was trying to tell me how i had my set up for climbing was unsafe and wanted me to add more links" to set up - everyone who climbs knows the more links in the chain the weaker or more prone to failures (physical or human)Despite a lengthy discussion which involved other climbers in the centre at the time all agreeing with me the staff member had some kind of power trip.Thankfully you don't pay till you get to the walls

Brilliant...what a fantastic experience each time...the centre keeps changing the bouldering pegs,which keeps the challenge different every 4-6 weeks...the instructors are a credit to this centre...well done ✔..

Friendly, well-run climbing wall with both ropes and bouldering available. A little on the small side compared to Loughborough or The Pinnacle (Northampton) walls but perfectly serviceable for climbing needs.

My son goes weekly for her Duke of Edinburgh award and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Revisiting an old haunt, good fun, locals were still there, mostly moaning about the lack of new routes, good to catch up though.

Excellent staff, they are very knowledgeable in their field and some of the best around. A lot to be learned from their sound advice and guidance.

Not huge but one can boulder, top rope and lead. Quite nice panels for leading, though not numerous. But awesome staff!
