Horsepool Farm Dog Park

Big disappointment and not much of a dog park. Just a closed little field and no toys just 2 chewed up balls. Dirty water so luckily bought our own even though we read water was there incase. No other dogs here also which obviously isn’t in the owners control however I can see why this place has no one here and the rest are pretty much fully booked all the time. Could be a nice place to bring your dog with some heart and thought put into the place. Won’t be returning as all we’ve done is walk round in circles for 30 mins and the dogs bored.

We've been here a handful of times, and unfortunately it's 50/50 as to what the condition of the field is going to be. In the winter, the field is a boggy, muddy mess with no warning of this on social media, and unfortunately now in late June they have left the grass to grow so long that we lost two decent balls that we won't get back. Spent most of the hour looking for them with no luck. There's no body to speak to and no body to contact. Not well maintained, holes in the floor hidden by super long grass (found while looking for the balls. Very dangerous if a dog caugh its leg in one.) Left wondering what we actually paid for. Reached out on social media with no response. Sorry, not happy and probably won't come back.

Used this dog park for the 1st time today with 2 dogs, very easy to book online and easy to find, will definitely take the dogs again

Lovely little spot for sole use dog walking! Easy to book and get too. Our dog loves it here and it’s kept very clean, which is massive for us as been to so many that aren’t!! Poo bags and bins all over so no excuse not to clean up after yourselves! Not an agility field so don’t expect to find that, but perfect for our dog who just wants to run round the grass and be safely enclosed!

A decent sized field with plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Good parking and there's a farm shop on site where you can pick up fresh milk and other local products. The field gets quite muddy when wet so I recommend wearing wellies. A great place if, like me, you've got a reactive dog who can't normally run off the lead. Hourly time slots are bookable and it's particularly good value if you're bringing 2 or 3 dogs.

Not the biggest Dog Field that I've ever visited, but, it made a pleasant change to visit somewhere different. Plenty of poo bags and bins, so there's no excuse for anyone not to pick up. My Working Cocker loved it. He doesn't need toys etc, just plenty of new sniffs, he had those in bucket loads. Lost a star due to no water being available. Had to cut our hour short as my lad was searching for a drink. We will be back.

Had a lovely hour here today with our Staffy, its lovely to let him off the lead without looking around for other dogs (he isn't aggressive, he was attacked when he was a pup and was left scared of bigger dogs) The field is a really good size and is clean and tidy. Plenty of bins and poo bags so no excuses to leave a mess behind. There is a tap by the cow shed to fill the water bowls. We'll definitely go back.
