First time in the shop, and I go to Abdulrahman on the right. Everything is fine, but he takes the blend, on the curve of my head, too short. After already saying to leave the length there before it was cut, I decide that I will need some length off the top (having not requested any length previously but due to reassessing from the shortened part) in order to even it out.It was at this point his colleague, Ali, loses his composure and starts shouting at me that I’m messing his colleague about, being defensive about Abdulrahman’s lack of English, while standing over my chair. He wasn’t accepting of my perspective so I apologised if I’d come across the wrong way and we manage to temporarily clear the air and finish the haircut.Before paying, I then have to specifically ask an apology from Ali as I felt I was at no point rude, disrespectful, or hostile, even with his unacceptable behaviour. Only then do we manage to see some eye to eye and sense some remorse from Ali. During all of this fiasco, Abdulrahman doesn’t contribute as he seems a nice and unproblematic guy.I don’t think my request was particularly out of the ordinary for a customer but regardless, and even if having a bad day, Ali’s handling of the situation was very poor.The haircut was satisfactory in the end and I hope my experience was a one-off, but as the worst experience I’ve ever faced in a barbershop, I had to share.

Best haircut I’ve had in London at an affordable price. Plus the staff are lovely.

Ali is a legend. I go to stars every 2 weeks and have the best haircuts. Ali is one of the most down to earth and friendly guys you’ll ever come across. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher. The Keaton dude who gave 1* is talking nonsense, I was there when it happened and he was extremely rude to Ali and had an unjustifiably large amount of entitlement and narcissism. Ali dealt with the situation very professionally

A personable barber that enjoys what he does. Very efficient and very well priced. Definitely one of the better haircuts I’ve found in a Camberwell area and have been coming here for a couple of years now.

Extremely disappointed. I had been growing my hair out for months and asked for just the split ends to be cut off and got way more cut off than I had asked. It was at the back so I couldn’t see. Uneven sides too with one side higher than the other, and used razor despite asking for scissors. I liked my hair before and this is very disappointing as now I have to grow it out again. Very unhappy.

Overall a very disappointing experience. My barber didn’t speak much English, and ordinary I wouldn’t want to blame someone for that, but this is a situation where communication is essential. He didn’t seem to understand anything I said to him, whenever I expressed what I wanted he was visibly confused, and I couldn’t understand what he said back. It wasn’t just the language barrier though, because I clearly showed him how much I wanted cut, and he ended up taking off way more. At various points when I could see him taking off too much I clearly and firmly told him “that’s enough” but he ignored me. Until today I had long hair that went past my shoulders, and I only wanted a couple of inches off but now it’s just below my ears. My hair meant a lot to me and I’m quite upset about this.His hands kept getting all over my face, touching my eyes, nose and mouth which I was very uncomfortable with. At one point I had to keep my eyes closed because his knuckles kept going in them. When he cut the hair in front he didn’t hold it away from my face, even though it was hanging down onto my cheeks he just held the scissors right against my skin. I kept getting nicked by this and was visibly wincing but he continued.I wouldn’t mind so much if it still looked decent, but not only is it not what I wanted, it’s a bad haircut. To be quite honest he didn’t seem to know what he was doing and I’m not sure how this man is working as a barber. I deeply regret coming here and would advise everyone against it.

I’ve been coming here for a very long while very good price and the barber very kind and gives good trim I would highly recommend this shop and the barber here
