Good wooded campsite with a nice big wood pile and well looked after toilet block. Some good on site activities. Only downside is it might get muddy easily if it rains.

We had a great night camping here with Natural Wonders! The campsite itself is well equipped with good facilities however there was no escaping the all-night rumble of the M3 and the Heathrow air traffic.

Our pack jamboree took place here for the second year. Fab outdoor facilities, perfect for hosting camping and a very large group. My son wasn't happy with the toilets but then he likes his comforts and they were as one would expect at a camp centre

I was there for a festival which had several hundred people attending over the course of 3 days, including camping there overnight for all 3 days. I can only say the site itself for this purpose was average. There was maybe 200+ people at the site but one toilet and shower block. From the get go it was not obvious where the women's toilets were as they were tucked around the side with no major sign to tell you that's where they were. There was only 4 electric showers to serve everyone and from what I remember there was little or no hooks within the showers to hook your clothes on to. Out of the 4 showers one was permanently broken and on the very last day all stopped working. As I remember the toilets didn't always flush fully and stuff was floating around.Perhaps the biggest disappoint was the total lack of decent grass on the site. There was nowhere to sit that wasn't muddy. The grass area should have had some grass seeds planted before the festival and then it would have made it so much nicer. Compare this to the grass car park on the other side of the road which had such lovely green grass. In the end we ended up going to the car park opposite to have a lay down in the sun because all the camp grounds had to offer was mud. Obviously the grass on the camp site is trampled by people's feet but not much seems to have been done to replenish the grass. The places where you could set up a tent had zero grass, it was just dirt. There was an outdoor area for listening to talks where you're supposed to sit on wooden logs but these logs were painful to sit on for more than a few minutes. It was also really hard to hear anything that was being spoken there, it would be nice if they invested a bit of money in an outdoor PA system with speakers at the back so those sitting furthest away from the presenter could actually hear what was being said. I also have no idea how it's possible to use this space when it rains as there's no cover. The main hall looked a bit tatty on the inside, it looks like it could have done with a lick of paint. They have built the hall with a kitchen attached which is helpful unless there's a talk going on in the main hall and you're trying to hear what's being said whilst there's people in the kitchen cooking away using things like blenders. It would have been nice if there was some kind of sound proofing material to dampen the noise coming from the kitchen.Inside of the main building the doors constantly slammed shut with a very loud noise so when you were inside you'd constantly be disturbed by the slamming doors, I don't know if there was those arms they usually have over doors to control how slowly they shut but if there was they weren't set correctly. If you want to hire out the place for an event it's a nice enough venue but whoever looks after the place needs to make sure things like showers and toilets all work perfectly and can handle hundreds of people using them over the course of a few days.People go to places like these to be in the outdoors - as much as we like the outdoors no one likes sitting in mud, so my biggest wish for this venue is they buy some grass seeds and start looking after the single green space which was a shambles compared to their over the road car park's lovely green grass.

Fantastic site with great facilities for our winter camp. We slept indoors but made great use of the outdoor space in our waking hours cooking over fires, games in the woods and improving our axe and penknife skills. Rifle shooting was also fantastic.

Beautiful campsite with all facilities and losds of trees that have given us nice shade in this quite sunny weekend. I am here at #RawfestUK and there are loads of things going on! All food is vegan (yay!) There's music, yoga and other workshops. While I haven't been during a regular weekend there is a climbing wall that looks very interesting.
