Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Bangor

When ever I have engaged this branch ,either in person or on the phone, I have found them rude and unhelpful. The woman I spoke to this morning regarding contact lense replacement, basically said we will get back to you and hung up. Can't stand dealing with this branch . Bad service on all fronts I wouldn't recommend.

Brilliant service, was seen very quickly even though it was very busy. Thorough eye test and lovely staff. There was one lady in particular that stayed with me to choose my glasses called Sandra. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, made me feel comfortable and never once made me feel rushed especially as I took quite a long time choosing! She had fantastic advice on what type of frames would suit my face and which didn't look quite right which I really appreciated. Thank you again Sandra!

Situated inside small shopping mall, fee charging car park (with lift and toilets) available. Suitable for visiting by wheelchair users.Welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient staff.They have up- to date equipment that beats the local hospital! I can vouch through personal experience.

Friendly staff who were knowledgeable and caring. Despite the store being busy, I was not kept waiting for an unduly long time between each stage of the test. The Optometrist Sian was brilliant, explained every process, easy to talk to, and thorough. I would like to see her on every visit to Bangor Specsavers, as she was so good. I've been going to this store of Specsavers for fifteen years or more, and would not change.

The glasses I had to take back after 2 days as I could not use them when driving. They repeated the test and stated they had been to powerful. They kept the glasses and stated they would rectify the problem. I saw a man and said he would ring me when they would be ready but this did not happen so I took it upon myself too ring and spoke to the man himself and he stated he had been off sick and he would ring me the following week. I did explain that I had suffered a heart attack 2 weeks prior and wasn't allowed to drive for 6 weeks so I had to organise and depend on someone to take me to the store. I was promised no less than 3 ring backs and they never happened. This is approximately 5 weeks ago. I have now given up and I am still without my glasses. I would like my money back. RESULT today 1/8/23 after I left some feedback. They phoned me and apologised and said they could post them on to me or I could have my money back £15 in total. My conclusion is that they are happy for me to receive a refund but don't care" if I need the glasses or not. This says it all. What they should have done is posted my glasses and send me a refund as a gesture of good will. That is what I would have done. I think that says it all about this company's morals."

Couldn't fault the place, made to feel welcome. No forced sales. Pleasant, informative staff.
