Gave one star, as no minus option. Please do not book any holiday with this firm.Our June trip to The Royal Highland show, which we had fully paid for, was cancelled by William 24 hours before we were due to travel, citing that the bus company let him down. He took my bank details and said he would refund our money that evening, but almost 6 weeks later and still no refund received. He won't return my calls either, disgraceful treatment.I thought we could salvage part of our trip, and was going to book a flight to Scotland and make our own way to the show, and contacted the hotel to ask about our accomodation as we knew we were booked in there for 3 nights so we thought at least we have somewhere to stay. We were totally shocked to hear our tour had not been booked into the hotel at all!!! And also that I was not the first person travelling on this trip with Elite travel to contact them, others had thought the same as us.Please be warned by what happened to us, and think twice before booking with Elite travel Cookstown.

ELITE WORLD TRAVEL NIFormally Elite Travel NIOffice in Cookstown(The company name has disappeared from the heading of my review)I dont even know where to begin - the one star I awarded is solely for two members of staff in the Ballymoney office who managed to help me resolve the mess we got into when dealing with William in the Cookstown office.We initially booked pre covid and I have in writing that we would get a full refund if covid affected our holiday. Our trip was cancelled due to covid and like others - we were given a voucher - when asked for a refund I was told refunds are not allowed".I kept a full timeline of all correspondence - something that later proved to be useful as there were several inaccuracies regarding the voucher balance when trying to use it.We were told to go to Travel Solutions facebook page as we could only use our voucher for trips they had advertised and not actually for where we wouldve liked to go.We managed to find two trips - had money to add to our voucher which we were happy to do. The communication was non existent - I’ve call logs that will show hundreds of calls

Absolute nightmare from start to finish!!!After 2 years we finally went on the holiday we booked before lockdown. It was cancelled a few times and we were given a voucher to use. Completely understandable and that was fine.But trying to re book was hell.I can’t stress enough how unprofessional and rude they are. Basically because we had a voucher and they weren’t making a new sale they just didn’t want to know. Literally all we wanted was the exact same holiday booking again!? Nothing complicated. Not asking much.After weeks of emails with no reply and calls that were put on hold and hung up on over and over again ( also every single time I had to explain who I was.. the situation and what holiday we had booked and no one ever knew anything about it! )We finally got it booked again but I was made to feel like a complete crazy person having to keep trying to get through to them! The new dates were low season and we were charged another £600 on top of what we already paid!! We were so upset but we were so scared of losing all the money we had already paid by that stage we just had to pay.We got as far as a few days before we were flying and again sent numerous emails to simply ask for our holiday confirmation so I could book airport parking etc. No reply.This was a very stressful situation to be in and I’m still baffled at how badly we were treated and never ever as much as a sorry when you finally get speaking to someone.Absolutely disgusting. Booking a holiday is supposed to be a lovely time.I just hope no one else has to go through that.

Disgraceful company!!!!! Had a hotel break cancelled 2 years ago and was told i would be able to reschedule, despite several attempts contacting both the Cookstown and Ballymoney office I was not able to rebook or get my money back, now they just don't bother replying to my emails and blocked me from their fb page, a minus star would be more accurate for this company.
