My child has benefited immensely by Tutor Doctor as his confidence level has improved massively since starting private sessions with his tutor Mr. Leon. Mr. Ian is a true tutor doctor as he has matched the right tutor for my son after thoroughly assessing my son's strengths and weaknesses in person. Truly, Tutor Doctor is a great find for us and I would highly recommend them for any one who is in search of a tutor to give that extra support to your child.

I'm a tutor with Tutor Doctor. I operate in the Hull area, specialising in maths. Tutoring under Ian's guidance has been brilliant. He offers the opportunity for me to choose my sessions with parents/carers to find a schedule that works best for both myself and the learner/parents/carers.I currently Tutor 4 pupils, and it has been a pleasure to see progress with the pupils I teach - both in their confidence and ability.Any pupil, regardless of ability, should access tutoring sessions to build on their maths ability and confidence. The opportunity to work with a learner on a 1-1 basis in comparison to a classroom setting (typically 30~ pupils per teacher) allows far more focus when considering the learner's needs, leading to far more effective personal development.

Contacted tutor doctor as my daughter needed help with chemistry. We had a meeting to discuss her needs and was advised on options and after time for us to discuss it we went with tutor doctor who arranged her a chemistry tutor. The tutor always arrives as arranged and tutors her the lesson for the hour but to fair usual is over the hour. We'll mannered and professional and gives us feedback on session. She is now expected to go up at least 2 grade with their help and would not hesitate to use them again if help needed with A levels .Quick update as my daughter got her results yesterday with her science she has actually come away with a 5/4 which I know would not have been achieved without using tutor doctor as she was predicted a 2 in chemistry I know she worked hard but this was achieved with just a 17 week window before exams

I'm very happy to have found the tutor doctor! Ian arranged a meeting in no time, he made sure he could have all the important information about my child and in less than a week he found the perfect tutor for us. She is a very well prepared teacher; she has not only got the academical knowledge but also she is very patient and caring. She recognises the child's needs and strengths very quickly and bases the classes on that. Very flexible as well if it comes to change one hour of tutoring for exceptional reasons.We were so happy with her that we decided to engage her for our older child, who has autism. We don't regret this for a minute. The bond she has created with her is amazing. My children look forward to welcome her every week. We see great progress in both children. Hugely recommended

If you’re are looking for a private teacher to help your child to improve his/ her learning and confident, Tutor Doctor is a best place to start.My son struggled a bit with his maths work, we tried our best to help him out, but still struggled, Luckily we came across Tutor Doctor to help him out. It fair to say that after few sessions with his tutor, he gained his confidence and his maths work improved. he is doing really great now, thanks to the Tutor Doctor.

My daughter had her first tutorial with Tutor Doctor today. We wish we could have signed up earlier! She finished the session full of confidence and enthusiasm and positive for her next lesson. Delighted and very grateful for the service from Tutor Doctor. Our specifications were understood and the tutors recommended were all excellent. In the first instance one of the tutors wasn't a great fit (not her fault, she was excellent but we just needed a slightly different approach). Switching tutors was no issue at all. We have felt listened to and supported throughout, thank you.Update approx 3 months in. Both Thomas Thompson (Maths) and Ryan Smurthwaite (English) have been amazing, they have progressed our son's learning as well as instilling confidence and self belief, both priceless qualities.
