TrueDeli - Biedronka

I used to love that shop as it had a great choice of Polish food. I haven’t been there a while but I haven’t missed much when I eventually visited again. The choice is poorer, no “winter” teas, shocking prices. Barely anything vegan or vegetarian. The shop is cluttered and there’s not much space. Honey prices are horrendous. I bought it half price in Lidl before during the Polish week. I know - Brexit, inflation and all that but you can’t use those excuses forever. The prices are extortionate and for some reason the Romanian food is cheaper but usually I can’t buy it as it’s all in Romanian without English translation and I don’t know what the product is. You’ll definitely be spoilt for choice of meat though. Also, the cashier didn’t scan the fruit I wanted to buy. I wasn’t charged for it but I still wonder what happened to it. Won’t be coming back. The prices have been rising for a while now but I turned a blind eye as there were better products and more choice and prices were more tolerable. I’ll be going to Alinka and other Polish shops instead. Also, what the deal with changing the name all the time in the past?

Hard working staff and very polite, but this is not enough if they touch the meat and the cakes from the fridges after using the gloves for scanning the products and taking the money from the customers. And this is not just one unfortunate event, because I saw them how they handle the goods from the fridges whenever I buy other packed products.Some meat products are expired, the mold being visible through the transparent packaging, even if the expiration date says something else.Absolutely no one in this store wears a mask for these pandemic times.

They assume that you are a thief as soon as you have a hood on. Disrespectful

It used to be descent place for shopping but we have noticed big changes. Prices up, the owner treast staff the way he must not! You better CHECK EXPIRY DATES! Owner clearly cares about his wallet only. Few weeks ago there was milk 2 weeks after expiry date in offer! Special price 50%off! Owner changes name of his business every few months. There was Tru Deli, Biedronka, Sun Market. Joke

Great shop, has some stuff that’s really hard to find in the U.K. or even other similar shops. Great variety and found loads of great Alcohol free drinks

Shop becoming great again. Merchandising on high level, lot of new products.....It would be the best shop again if not for the staff.I just had terrible costumer service experience by one blond hair lady. The way she spoke and what words she was using made me feel like buying stuff in Russia. Where the customer service stays on one of the lowest position in the world.Till the time it will be changed I would recommend dodging that blond lady. Other than that the shop is awesome.
