Pack Horse Inn
Called in for food after a long walk. Couldn't have chosen a better pub. Had liver bacon and onions. It was amazing,cooked to perfection.

Pack Horse Inn
Pub on top of misty mountains. It was wonderful. Found this while on the way to Widdop on my bike. Life saver. We were almost on our last breath when we saw this, it motivated us to complete the trip. Good beer on tap, had white rat and black sheep.

What a great pub, lovely atmosphere. And the food is delicious and a decent portion and not expensive. You won't be disappointed if you visit.

Excellent pub. Food lovely, service excellent and friendly. Genuine old fashioned pub with a nice fire. Not one fake staggs head on the wall or pretend book shelf. This pub is the real deal. Long may it stay like that.

A friendly welcome here this Sunday lunchtime at this dog friendly Inn, its been four years since our last visit. Good to see that it hasn't changed.Good pint of Nettle thrasher.Leek and potato soup was excellent and substantial, the garlic mushrooms were tasty.Both the Sunday roast beef and ham were excellent, good veg/roast potatoes, cracking Yorkshire pudding and plenty of meat.The young lady who served us was polite and helpful.

Lovely hearty Yorkshire food. The staff are kind and attentive and very dog friendly. The views around the pub are fantastic and it's definitely a gem.

Really warm welcome, good food and drink at this remote but scenic location. As much a delight for today's travellers as it must have been in the days of the old drovers.
