Food was very tasty and hot. Service was a little slow but they apologised by taking £15 off the bill which I thought was very generous. Would go again.

Silk Rd Restaurant Heswall
We were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary and was so well looked after by Josh, whilst dining at Silk Road. Cannot recommend Josh or Silk Road enough. The choice of food is amazing and so tasty. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks again, Josh :)

Silk Rd Restaurant Heswall
So disappointing……after one hour only a cold starter, chips and one tapas appeared! Other, larger groups seemed to fare better than the two of us. Both the chips and lamb tapas were warm, not hot. Won’t be back as lots of other restaurants to choose.

Some of the food was really tasty and good value. However, the service was not up to the standard of the food. It also felt as if the restaurant could do with a deep clean, sticky floors and tables not the cleanest.

Great atmosphere..very welcoming hosts.At first, looking at the menu, my first impressions was another place where they add all in together ( as in the menu you can see nasi goreng, Malaysian rendang, Chinese, Indian n etc )Ordered vegetarian Aubergine Spicy tomatoes sauce and Fried Seabass Soo chee sauce for main n starter is mixed Pita bread with dipping sauce for £12 set menuMy husband had Thai beef with spicy Salad.What can I say..it's delicious, as a cook and fussy eater, I think they restaurante nailed it.Recommended to those who want light but filling lunch!

Silk Rd Restaurant Heswall
Our favourite place for tapas and sangria. The lovely guy who serves us whenever we come (sorry I don't know his name) is always great with us and our little boy. He even let us know the secret recipe for his sangria. Kalamari, spring rolls and sweet and sour are my favourite dishes. We've talked about coming here with our family and friends after we get married because we love it so much. Keep up the great work Silk Rd heswall. Xxx

All our dishes were superb, can’t rate them highly enough. Service was very friendly, possibly a tad slow but not annoyingly so.Highly recommended
