I use to go there and I was bully a lot, with the staffs and the pupils. I'm a special need and the reason they accept me is because they want the money.I was ment to have 1 to 1 in classes and didn't get it. I get told off for mostly everything (like no doing homework, forgetting stuffs and all that stuffs)Even tho that they got deaf unit, it didn't help me whatso ever.I was only there for 1 year and 2 months when I left I was so happy!

This school is completely rubbish, for starters the english teachers do not care about the students or progress. The only good teachers in the english department are Ms Ma*****ld and Ms D**ma. The worst teacher is Ms Ch****gra. She is super duper unreliable and lazy and is never in, we have never gotten one test back and we never write on books and always on sheets, she always takes the easier option and puts a movie o instead of reading the book. She makes excuses like i couldnt walk guys thats why i couldnt come in". They are not in the slightest bit believable. Dont even get me started on mr crampton. If anyone has him as a teacher

If I could rate this school zero stars I would but sadly that option does not exist. There are teachers in the science and english department who intentionally pick on pupils. It is all about silence rather than a positive study environment in this school.DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, SEND UR CHILD HERE

I was a student here from 2017-2022, just left last year from GCSEs to move to Heathland School for my A levels (for 6th form). From my own experience, I can say that the teachers are not supportive unless you are already ahead of the game- I was academically strong and enjoyed sciences and english, but as time went on, I came to dislike the lessons. I felt that teachers just critiqued and made a big deal of silly little things- especially during covid. One of these is the uniform policy- I don’t understand why uniform is your priority in year 11 exam months, you should be enthusiastic and helping the kids to work hard for their exams rather than doing pointless uniform checks in the mornings. They refused to let us revise in the mornings during form time when we have nothing else to (or just random word of the week assemblies) as if the reason we are at school is not to revise but to waste time.My last head of year was very dramatic like this as well, always doing these stilly talks which don’t encourage any good activity from students. I used to enjoy school, be a straight A student and want to go far, but as time went on at Heston, I wanted to fight back and do silly things because I was annoyed at these pointless rules (I never acted out, but I was annoyed with the teachers’ attitudes). One last thing about uniform (which you probably have realised that it was what annoyed me the most) was about the piercings rule- you’re not allowed nose piercings or more than 1 ear piercing at any time and you have to take the earrings out at Pe if caught.I don’t understand how having these make any difference to education- I could see how maybe having fake nails could be slightly harmful if you poke someone or if you can’t write or along those lines but outside of PE, what difference do these adjustments make? They are just metal pieces, and you aren’t allowed to have them at the sixth form either- they do make you remove them for 16-18 years of age if you go there, which is so silly, since people wear makeup and are mentally more mature anyways. At that point, no one cares about “dressing up” if that’s what the teachers think is going on in your minds- having these piercings doesn’t mean you’re going to be a gangster or something.I really disliked my last year at Heston in Year 11, because of their rules. One very last point is that any good teachers have already left as they are doing this year or at the end of 2022.So personally, if you do want to still go to Heston for your own reasons and not just because of family, please consider these suggestions. Make sure to check for open days and have a look around for the schools, and pay attention to the attitudes of the students showing you around- you can gather if they are smart, disinterested or saying random responses with your own opinions and thoughts.Best of luck for your futures!

This is the worst school in Hounslow, after Cranford. There are many aspects to complain about. First of all, students take their food outside of the cafeteria and drop them on the ground, where mice and rats devour them.. If I wrote every thing bad about this school, I'd have to stay up until night time ; such as racism and homophobia, mistreatment of the mentally challenged, and the occasional physical violence from members of staff. This is just a molehill compared to the mountain of horrible things this school contains. If you care about the well-being of you're child, I advise you to keep away from this school.Oh, I forgot to add that when a condom was found in a bin, it was discovered that one of the french teachers had SEX with one of the older students. The school covered it up. The worst part is, the teacher still works in our school. If you are one of the 'visitors' that check on the school, don't be fooled. They put up a mask. The students that you see behaving are being threatened with exclusions and senior detentions.
