While most products are still a pound the name is becoming a little less accurate given the current economic climate, and the number of items that are now £1.25 plus and/or reduced package sizes. Still bargains to be found, just less than there were.

As you'd expect being in the town center this shop gets a serious amount of footfall, yet the staff are remain friendly and helpful. There's lots of bargains and product variation, not to mention the clothes section for all the family. I've had continuous good shopping experiences in Cookstown Poundland so a big thank you to the staff keep up the good work.

Friendly staff. And there is a good selection of products at reasonable prices including clothes etc. There is also a bigger Poundland beside Next at the top end of the town too.

Good selection of items in this store. I like their wool and craft items...always something a bit different from other Pound shops. Lovely staff very friendly and approachable. Good focus on sanitizing, this is the first place I have seen the in-store trolleys being sanitized for use. I would recommend a visit .
