Spent a wonderful 1/2 day private tour with Matthew in Inverness and out to the Culloden battle site. Matthew is an articulate, knowledgeable and very personable guide. He created an invigorating, enlightening and funny experience. Highly recommended. Hope to tour with him again. Matthew is truly a charismatic legend!

Matthew was our guide and helped organize an incredible day touring the Scottish highlands. His responsiveness, attention to detail, and great ideas made the planning a breeze. During the trip he had the whole crowd laughing and completely entertained! He is incredibly knowledgeable about Scotland and its history and made it all fun. He was also so helpful and attentive to my disabled mother, he is truly a kind soul. I highly recommend him!

We had an absolutely terrific time with Matthew on our Highland Whisky Tour. He was experienced knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and a great driver. His van is very comfortable. More importantly, Matthew is flexible with the knowledge of where to go and what to do if detours, weather or, if you want to change up the itinerary. Really can't wait to take another on of his tours.

My sister-in-law and I did a full day tour with Matthew and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Scotland. We wanted to see the northern highlands and he customized such a memorable day for us. He picked us up from our Airbnb and we drove north while he shared his vast knowledge of our surroundings, as well as history of Scotland and answered a million of our questions. We stopped at a castle, a small gin distillery, the northern most point on the mainland where we did a little hike on the cliffs, and a few smaller places in between while driving through the beautiful highlands in his extremely comfortable van. He made it so much fun and we laughed with him all day. I’d highly recommend hiring him if you’d like to do a small group, custom tour around the Inverness area. Thank you, Matthew!

If I could give 10 stars I would. We had an incredible time from start to finish. We laughed, we saw sheep, we saw Highland cows, we saw the beautiful Isle of Skye and we learned so much about Scotland. Honestly of all the tours we have done, this one was the absolute best.

Matthew is a phenomenal tour guide, exceeding all our expectations. He led a group of 6 longtime girlfriends who threw him a slew of challenges and every question one could imagine. He handled all with grace and and wit. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the area, giving us a historical, botanical and ornithological education as we explored the Highlands.
