Tesco Express

Bought chicken home for the 4th time to find it was rotten. Had to work really hard to get an exchange. Am complaining to Tesco and then if it happens again council food hygiene.

The negative reviews are unfortunate because this is a small and very busy store where the staff do the best they can. I’ve always found them helpful and friendly. They were terrific during the pandemic also. Give the poor staff a break or go work in a supermarket and see how you like the long hours and the rubbish pay!

This is a very dirty shop. Water on the floor. Boxes and trolleys block access to the shelves with goods. There is a mess on the shelves. The prices do not match the products. Often, groceries are past their use-by date. The staff are very rude and even aggressive. They don't wear a name tag so it's hard to tell who's who.One of the worst stores in London. Terrible. They bring shame to the entire company.

Worst staff I have ever seen. Lydia or Lidia forgot her name is one of the worst customer service staff I have ever seen. Why is she working on tills if she wants to shout at customers?

This place needs a clean up. It's not the best especially for an area that is changing with newly developing flats and houses. The clientele has professionals now moving into the area therefore the shop needs to be more inviting.

Bought a pack of 5 chicken thighs from the store. It was reduced by 79p. Bought it on the 20th of June, the sell by date was the 21st. It had a reduced sticker on it. When opening the chicken, I found that it was rotten, very much off. I had to drive back to return it. I only wanted a new packet of chicken, having bought the ingredients, during what is tough time for most, I wanted to stick to the recipe. When I asked if I could exchange it, they said no, we can only give you a refund. A refund doesn't buy me new chicken or pay for the cost of going back to visit the tesco to return meat that is off. The manager, who didn't want to reveal his name when requested, said: 'how is he supposed to open it up and smell its off'. You shouldn't need to open it on the 20th if the date is the 21st. I asked,'Would you prefer if we ate off meat? Got sick, and then we had a much bigger issue's?' He replied: 'Yes'. Makes it extremely difficult for one to keep their calm and still have to deal with an absolute benched with chicken wings

Store a disgrace, sorry. Very strong smell in Store on 24.8.23 & 26.8.23 made me feel sick. Think it needs a massive clean.

I been living in this area for long time and im a regular customer for long time.its really sad to see this store really doing bad compare to last few years,all the good olf staff have gone and bunch of clowns working now.no respect not a single help for customers, i can say another 100 of bad things. Someone really needs to look into whats going on.this is really unfair for the local customers.

- The prices are quite high at this small Tesco compared to other major grocery stores. You will find that if you go to the Tesco on Green Street, prices will be cheaper.- this Tesco has no facilities to lock bicycles to outside which is quite a shame considering the number of cyclists has risen significantly over the years.- other than the above, I think the staff is nice, and the location is good for a small grocery run if you need something quickly, but the high prices are of putting. Prices at this small Tesco are higher than the Tesco’s, Waitrose, and Sainsbury’s in the wealthier West London areas, from what I have experienced by actual physical visitations to West London grocery stores.

Instead of pointless Merry Christmas" on the windows (that no one cares about) why don't you put a note asking customers to switch off the engines while waiting in the car? The toxic fumes are a real health hazard and everytime I pass I can see a cloud of toxic combustion right outside Tesco. Please
