We rented a unit recently from Store first Leeds. We dealt with the manager of the store who was very helpful and professional. He seemed to have our best interests at heart and explained the process extremely clearly. It wasn’t as worrying as I first thought. The team at Leeds Store First were brilliant from start to finish, showing us various unit sizes to meet our requirements and due to a very difficult and complicated house move we’re able to offer us a second unit at short notice that helped us smooth our move and took a lot of stress out of it. We are extremely grateful for their help and professional attitude in explaining our options and guiding us to the result for our circumstances.

This is the first time I've leased a storage unit. I initially spoke to Emily who was very helpful giving me all the information I needed over the phone. Michael was there to sign me up when I went in to the office, which is super clean and tidy! The staff a very friendly and made the sign up quick and easy. At the moment there is a brilliant 50% discount for the first 8 weeks.When it came to moving in my belongings Scott was around the warehouse and very willing to help me unload. He managed to fit everything in the locker with room to spare, which we didn't expect as we had some big pieces for furniture.Overall a 5** experience. Would deffinitely recommend.

Very good. Getting settled in and slowly filling our space, clearly popular! Staff are really good, friendly and helpful. Very safety conscious so all the boxes are ticked. Confident all is well that my space is secure as there's CCTV everywhere and ease of user access is perfect.First Store have got it right for me!Thank you!

Shortly after all things COVID, my wife and I decided to pack up our house and put it into storage at Store First.Their facilities are really good! Clean, safe, and okay pricing. Certainly cheaper than some of the other competitors.We had the pleasure of meeting Emily! She is truly lovely, helpful, and friendly and when seeking assistance recently from her when we visited our unit after 2 or so years, she was so so helpful!She went above and beyond to get our matter sorted and we couldn't be more grateful to her.Her willingness, patience and understanding made the entire experience enjoyable, in fact it was quite fun, a good cackle, and she made us feel valued.She is such a friendly, kind, considerate person, always eager to help however she can.Thank you Emily! (and the rest of the SF team!)

Great overall experiece from Mike, cheaper than their competitors quote with all the 'mandatory extras' the competitor didn't include initially. Wish there was more than 1 lift at busy times!

The facilities & space provided with my quoted price (to pay) as a uni student was very beneficial. I would have given 5 stars if not for the unpleasant service this woman at the reception named Emily provided. I understand that the company's policy would only accept passports or UK driving licenses (not BRPs) but my friend and I were spoken to very rudely by this Emily. I completely understand her refusal to accept my BRP but her way of going about it was terribly rude. Thankfully, her colleague (I was unable to get his name) was apologetic for her attitude and was very easy to communicate with. Not only did he apologise for her attitude, but he also made the process extremely easy and helped us to sweep up some rubbish in our storage unit immediately. If anything, this nice man made the overall experience a pretty good one for my friend and me.

I never leave negative reviews only I feel compelled to do so this time. After maybe dealing with this company for about six years both as a customer and someone who referred people to the business, I have dealt with a number of staff who have tried to be helpful in the past.About two months ago I made a telephone call into the Leeds store, a person called Michael Crossley who identified himself as the branch manager basically had a conversation with me that unnecessarily took a turn where he tried to rudely cut me off, not allowing me to speak and then proceeded to end the call.From my end it would appear that Michael personally got upset when he could not steer the conversation down the marketing/sales route to attach my details to a booking. Michael was very happy to somewhat try to gaslight me and waste my time as appose to listen to me the customer and quickly assist with a simple query. Michael made his best effort to be short with me.He failed to listen when I explained to him at least three times. I explained that I had previously spoken to someone in the office and had received all the information required at that point. He did not want to listen. This is not the sort of behaviour I would hope to see from a manager.I raised the complaint twice with Head Office within the space of 10 days. Firstly getting an e-mail response from Michael Crossley trying to point of my 'complaint inaccuracies' as he put it and again made his best effort to continue to stand firm on his argument of whatever he felt he was correct about.Finally I received a response from someone identifying himself as the Area Manager apologising for what had happened and saying that I would be welcome to use services in the future. I'm sorry to say that the this reply was a little short of acceptable at my end. If I had received a phone conversation to acknowledge the issue, I feel that would have been a little more appropriate here. The Area manager needed to not even agree with me but just a touch more effort would have been required here. I would just have liked my complaint documented, however it seemed to have maybe just been dusted under the carpet.The impression I have got from the area manager's overall response is that Michael Crossley is being enabled to behave this way with whom he chooses. This behaviour is something that does not affect me personally. I leave this review so this situation is known.I'll end on saying 'Thanks but no thanks' to using their storage services under any circumstances. It may be that I am not the first person to have complained about the Leeds branch manager.
