I had been looking online for a used Mini Cooper S for some time, like many others, always feeling slightly apprehensive about the whole thing, as you have to deal with people who you have no previous knowledge about, and just because you are buying a used vehicle, it's still your hard earned money you are spending, so it needs to go well.After a long, extensive search, I had been having no luck, it was then that I remembered Donnington Cars in Reading, Berkshire, I wondered what they had in stock, so jumped onto their website to take a look.No prizes for guessing what I found! Yes, a Mini Cooper S, and within my price range too!I made an initial enquiry via their website and received a prompt reply.Next stage was to visit in person, to view the car and discuss it further with the proprietor, Mr Neil Munday.Neil arranged for the Mini to be prepped and agreed a suitable date for me to re-view and test drive the car.This included a new 12 month clean MOT, an oil change and filter, a valet along with a couple of jobs agreed by us both.Neil done everything as agreed and maintained great communication throughout.I found Neil to be a thoroughly decent, straight talking, honest and reliable guy to do business with.There was a steady stream of passing customers whilst I was there completing my purchase, a few making enquiries and some making purchases, great to see!I have ended up with a brilliant Mini Cooper S, I am thrilled to have found it at Donnington Cars, a used car dealer local to me and I am more than happy to recommend Neil at Donnington Cars to anyone considering buying a quality used car.Many thanks Neil, I wish you continued success at Donnington Cars.Mark.

Do not use this company to buy a car. I have had to make a serious complaint to the motoring ombudsman regarding their false selling tactics and poor communication.I purchased a car and was lied too regarding the current state of the car. Three weeks into driving the vehicle, all the cracks became apparent and the car caused myself and my family damage.I have reached out to Mark the original salesman who sold me the car, who consistently didn’t deal with any complaints I registered. He then passed me on to the other Mark who has completely ignored each message. To make matters more interesting, due to occupation I have learnt about many dodgy dealings this company have made. All of which, has been supplied as evidence to the motor ombudsman and other relevant authorities. All I wanted was some form of refund and they ignored everything. I believe now, this company willLearn the hard way.

We bought our first car from Neil a couple of month ago! The all buying experience was very good and stress free. Neil assisted us in everything and delivered the car in perfect conditions, clean, with brand new MOT and documentation up to date. Would really recommend to go and have a look at the cars in his shop!

EN ESPECIAL CON EL PROPIETARIO MARK J DONNINGTON.Compré un vehículo de segunda mano en A&M Donnington el pasado abril. 30 días después de la recogida, el motor pierde todo el aceite y queda gripado en medio de la autovía.Contacto con Mark Donnington, propietario del negocio, que fue además la persona con la que realicé todas las gestiones desde el minuto uno.Repito: evita a toda costa este lugar.La madrugada siguiente al día que recojo el vehículo, me encuentro en medio de una carretera francesa (viajaba esa semana, CON MI HERMANA EMBARAZADA, y él conocía las circunstancias) con un aviso en el panel - nivel de aceite bajo o crítico. Me extraña ya que el coche acababa de salir del taller, y este individuo me garantiza que de mecánica el coche está en perfecto estado.Llevo meses reclamando la garantía que cubre el vehículo, ignora mis mensajes y correos electrónicos. Estamos hablando de una reparación que iguala el coste de la compra del vehículo, he pasado meses sin coche, recurriendo a alquileres y servicio de taxi para poder desplazarme al trabajo.Algo que pudo solucionarse mediante comunicación, voy a tener que reclamarlo vía judicial.

I would recommend this family run business to anyone I know. I bought a Ford Focus from him recently and, despite a few teething problems due to general wear and tear after 2 weeks of ownership, I couldn't be happier with it. I didn't trouble Neil with these issues for that reason.Neil wasn't a pushy salesman. He allowed us more than ample time for a test drive. My wife and I felt very comfortable buying a used car from him.I was due to part exchange my old car with him before my old car developed some issues. He offered to pick my car up from Basingstoke and take it to his mechanic friend for diagnosis. In the ending paid full asking price instead and sold my old car on as a project.Neil was flexible and very helpful.

Recently have come back to Neil for a car MOT and service and also a browse at potentially a new car for my myself having bought my mini from him three years ago. Neil collected the car for me from my work place, took it for the MOT and service and had it dropped off back to me before my end of working day. I had left it a tad short notice but Neil kindly made time for me and got everything sorted ASAP. He was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process keeping me updated with text messages and we discussed what car id be looking to buy next and he even said he would offer me part exchange on the mini. Just waiting now on something to fit what I’d like to come in stock and I’ll be heading over to view. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I am very happy with my purchase, 12 months MOT, car runs well, fairly priced. Buying a car here has made the process stress free, and it's great to know that if something goes wrong I can always rely on the 3 months warranty. I will definitively recommend Donnington Cars.

Massive thanks to Donnington Car Sales!!! What a real gentleman. My daughters car broke down and sprung a large fuel leak. Without any hesitation they had a look for her while stranded at the side of the road on a double yellow line, managed to pop the fuel line on that had popped off!! WOW, my daughter was stuck and very worried. This just shows to me what type of business they're running. Honest and helpful. I've been in the Motor trade all my life and its very rare now a days to come across someone who is willing to take time out to help and not expect anything back. Big thanks guys :-)
