For me it was very important to have an honest and clear assessment of the property I was interested in buying. This was after all the biggest purchase of my life. I wanted to ensure my money was well spent. To this end I engaged Sarah's services for the house report. I was first of all impressed with how quickly the survey was carried out. The house report was delivered soon after. I found the report to be clear and thorough but which also included some issues which raised alarm bells. Thankfully Sarah invited me to get in touch if I had questions. I immediately emailed back on a bank holiday to see when would be a suitable time to speak to her. I wasn't expecting a response until the following day but I was fortunate enough to contact Sarah when she was available. Amazingly Sarah was happy for me to call her there and then. Sarah explained how she understood the position of the buyer and their anxieties which is why her services are customer focused. When we spoke I found Sarah to be very personable and eager to answer my questions. Sarah also clarified some of the technical aspects of the report. From the beginning, Sarah was clear, thorough and really easy to get in contact with. Sarah managed to book in our structural survey within the hour and visit the property 2 days later. After the survey, Sarah phoned myself and explained red flags and urgent attention needed which made myself and my partner aware of the problems with the property. We were under the impression that the house was ready to move into with no immediate attention, however after Sarah's thorough survey this was not the case. Sarah has saved us thousands of pounds which we cannot thank her enough for. Even though Sarah's prices were more expensive than other quotes we were receiving, it was worth the money as we were able to communicate with Sarah during the whole process. She was always at the other end of the phone which we would not be able to experience with other surveyor companies. I cannot recommend Sarah enough!

SJH is very efficient. I gave instruction of surveying on Thursday. The inspection was carried out on Tuesday of the following week, and the report was sent to me two days after. The report is in detail, lists out every observations and suspected issues, which many of them were not spotted by me during the viewing. Minor typos are found in the report though. Not affects the content, but will look more professional if improved. Sarah is also very friendly and helpful too. She answered my every queries and provided valuable recommendations.
