Horological Underground Watchmaking Atelier by German Polosin

I attended the shop about two weeks ago to examine and possibly purchase an antique Patek Phillipe pocket watch I seen on their website. I spoke to several members of staff who were very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly loved all things horological. The watchmaker Oliver who had serviced the watch was present and able to answer all my questions and satisfy me as to it's authenticity and condition. As a result I purchased this beautiful watch primarily as it's a fine example of a legendary watchmakers art and also as an investment piece. German kindly also subsequently prepared for me an identification document to accompany and assist in it's authenticity. A great place to visit and search for that perfect antique watch knowing that you are in the safe hands of experts who love their job. German also makes his own unique time pieces which are certainly worth considering.

After 30 years in a drawer, my glorious Citizen watch is now ticking again, and regain its original waterproof seal.Fantastic job and very meticulous repair.

I read the reviews for these guys and popped in on the off chance they could replace the battery in my Rado Centrix , all done and re sealed in less than 20 minutes and at a fraction of the cost of any where else that wanted to do it.Professional, helpful great guys to deal with.Thank you

Highly recommend! Lovely and professional person.I had the strap replaced at Fossil before Christmas, and after the holiday I found out that a part had fallen off, I thought maybe it was Fossil’s mistake, but I cannot proof it. Fossil was going to charge me £125!!! So I searched for nearby shops and found Horological Underfund watchmaking. English is not my first language but I try to described the situation and asked for the price, and said this watch is important to me, I will fix it anyway, but I don't think £125 is reasonable.he was very enthusiastic and told me that he could fix it for me for free!If you're looking to buy a watch, or repair your watch, it’s worth a visit here.

Friendly, personal, timely and expert service from this very small business. Changed the battery in my Breitling Aerospace, including pressure testing for £50 in 20 mins. The Breitling boutique around the corner wanted £200, and would have had to send it away!

I took a couple of watches in to be repaired, and Horological Underground did repair both of them, but only after about 2 months (initially they said 2 weeks) and a lot of chasing. I think my watches got forgotten about, and not sure I'd have them now if I hadn't chased up.Shame, as they otherwise were friendly and seem to have done a good job.
