Nice spacious rooms. Clean.Bathroom and shower large and modern, very goodTV tiny but what you'd expect for a cheaper priced hotel. No plug sockets near bed was main downside.Overall really good for price, would definitely come again.

Ideal for where we needed to be in Rotherham. Very attractive price too - basic but of a good standard especially for the price. Nothing was too much for the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely look here first if we need a hotel in Rotherham again!

I'm very fussy about hotels, and naturally because the star was so low, I really expected the worst. This was my first time to Sheffield and we just literally needed somewhere to stay for the night.My friend and I were pleasantly surprised!! We knew the reviews were decent but even still we took that with a pinch of salt. It literally is basic, but still very decent.We paid £27 pp for the night. Just in line with my budget at this time.The only thing I'd say is in the night time/ early morning, I was woken up by some kind of screeching likened to a seal noise, which happened several times. I'm not sure what it was, maybe a pipe or something, but it did disturb me especially as I sleep light.There are no facilities, spa or breakfast etc. But that's fine.The staff on the desk were accommodating and pleasant.There's a car park and towels are provided.There is a local pub/restaurant that provides breakfast a few mins walk away.Great place and would recommend.

Very warm welcome from the lady on reception. Rooms are basic but cheap. Could do with a bit more cleaning before guests arrive, but comfy beds, quiet location and we had a good night's sleep. Decent pub/eatery next door (the drawbridge) that do a good breakfast too- oh yea - and a car wash....

Good basic hotel for the money.Free parking.Very clean bed & bathroom.Carpet has seen much better days!Lady at reception was extremely helpful.No cooked food on site but Drawbridge pub 5 mins walk away does a great looking carvery & their buffet breakfast at £6.49 is served 8am-11am at weekends.

Bed wasn't great ..but really let down for me by the ultra bright carpark light fixed to the wall directly outside my room window..on the top floor , even the curtains couldn't keep it out . So the room was really bright all night . May seem trivial but I found it hard to sleep. Not great after a 17hr day at work.

Fantastic location for visiting Hilsbourough Park. We went to Hilsbourough for a concert and a taxi was only £6.50. the hotel receptionist was more than happy to book and help us. They even changed our room to an accessible one without us even knowing and made everything much easier. There was tea and coffee making facilities but no toilets except soap so take your own bathroom toiletries. The reception was manned through the night and on arrival back at 2am was able to order a takeaway to be delivered, we just asked them to call my mobile to let us know they were outside reception. For £60 you could not go wrong, I would gladly recommend this hotel as well as stay in it again.

Good parking. Very low cost. Friendly staff. The rooms are a bit basic and it wasn't very clean, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Had to use in an emergency staff were very welcoming and the rooms were super clean and comfortable. The cost was very affordable will use again.

Stayed here for one night whilst working on Bassfest in Sheffield. Arrived lateish but the guy on reception was very helpful. He struggled to find our room as it was booked under our job titles by our client rather than our names and we weren't aware of this.The top floor room was basic but clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable ( but that's a subjective thing) and above all, quiet.Would stay again.
