St Michael's Church

I was Married at the Church to my dear Wife on the 9th Aug 1958,The experience was ,I can only say wonderful, we have had nearly 57 Yrs together,sadly she passed away in February this year, Her maiden name was Joan Nattrass a local girl from Clydesdale Rd Byker, We were planning a visit to St Michael's this year together ,sadly this is not possible now , I still intend going myself ,I have made contact with Rev Philip Medley and he has made it possible for me to visit the Church. I would like to thank him for this , I am looking forward to meeting him , I will write another review when I have visited . Respectfully George Hunter

One of the great churches in the area. Placed on the highest point, the views over Newcastle and the Tyne from here are simply stunning. Friendly people and great clergy.

Hard to find but has a lovely view down over the Tyne far in the distance. Rough sourondings.

This is one of my favourite places, people are friendly and very welcoming.

Got married here in 1981Murray Haig was father/reverend/priest whatever the terminology was at the time.My church was the even higher church of Walker Parish. The vicar then was Father" Callaghan"
