This cafe is in a great location overlooking Aberdeen Harbour. My friend and I had walked out from the train station it is a great coastal, industrial walk. We were fortunate to get a seat as the place was busy. I had a fruit scone and a coffee which was very nice. I liked the fact they provide binoculars so you can watch for dolphins and the various vessels that arrive and leave Aberdeen. We really enjoyed our visit and with the wonderful views this place will do very well.

A must visit if in the area. So much to love about this self sustainable off-grid cafe in a shipping container! Quality homemade food and delicious cakes and coffee with lovely views

This is a place to be treasured. Lovely people, fantastic cakes and the best decaffeinated coffee I’ve ever had. And the views!!! Drank our coffee and ate the fantastic cake inside, then went outside to let others have the table. Spent a long time watching the harbour but no dolphins that day sadly. Owner’s mum just lovely and a joy to speak to. We’ll come back here often. Well done to all concerned for such a fab place.

Worth the view. Restaurant provides a number of binoculars. Enjoyed the coffee and cosy atmosphere created by the fire place, crafts and window views.

Beautiful sunny day so took a walk up and so glad I did. The cafe is located on one of the old gun emplacements within a derelict Victorian harbour fortification and is accessible through the main gate. There is ample parking at the entrance although it’s a bit tight so if your in a larger vehicle there is a larger car park on the right just past Torry Battery. The cafe isn’t huge, I’d say less than 10 tables but they have packed a lot of seating in for such a small area. There is lots of picnic benches outside so on a dry day getting a table somewhere inside or out shouldn’t be an issue. The views are truly amongst the best in Aberdeen and had I been able to sit inside I’m sure I would have spent ages watching the ships sail in and out of the harbour. The cake selection was exceptional and a nice range which all looked divine. I opted for a…. Now I can’t remember if it’s a Cruffin or a muffoisant but picture a muffin but with the texture and pastry of a croissant and you’ll get the idea. Suffice to say it was amongst the tastiest sweet treat I’ve ever had. I bought two, one apple and walnut and one cranberry and orange. My intent was to take one home and ashamed to say it never made it. It was just too nice. The mocha I ordered to go with it was also perfect and again was amongst the best I’ve had. The staff, despite working in a packed wee cafe we’re great. All very polite and trying their hardest to serve customers as fast as they could. I wish this cafe was bigger as imagine no sooner is a seat empty, someone new will sit down. But despite this I enjoyed my food and drink sitting outside and taking in the views. I will definitely be back and can’t wait.

A great little place. Always crowded when we visit so it's better to plan to take away as you might struggle to find seats inside. There are plenty of picnic benches outside.Cashless.

Superb views over Aberdeen harbour and breakwater combined with lovely coffee and cakes, rounded off with friendly staff.Came back for a second time and all of the above was still accurate, but you can add dolphins to the list.
