I think the taste of coffee is the best in Edinburgh. I really recommend flat white. When I visited, there were limited kinds of desserts, but by the time I finished drinking coffee, there were many kinds of desserts. If you fill in more types of desserts in advance when opening, it would be good to have more opportunities to choose.

I like the coffee but personally felt the baked goodies were overrated. The pastries were not warmed up it's having cold bread in a cold environment... The place is also a little small, very limited seating.

I had hot chocolate on a Saturday morning and I loved every part of it. It’s a cosy place, the staff members are great, clean and the drink is amazing. Would definitely come back.Note: the place is quite small, therefore can be crowded. No gluten free options though.

Great place for a morning latte. Was up early and needed a place for a coffee. This seemed to be the only place open at 8am, there was a queue both times i went but never theless the best latte ive had.I tried the cinnabun which was nice too, bit much for 1 person.£3.60 for a latte and 3.75 for the cinnabun, sensible price

The coffee is amazing and they have a specialty coffee. The cakes are good also and the staff are friendly and the place is so cozy. They have 2 places on the same street.

I will dream of the cinnamon cookie and the peanut butter cookie! One thing to be aware of is that this coffeshop is TINY - only one table, one 'reading nook' type of space' (see picture) and the rest is bar stools. We were lucky enough to grab the table and enjoyed an iced latte which was fantastic, peppermint tea and the above mentioned truly heavenly cookies.Staff was very friendly despite the relentless stream of customers - I hope to go again on my next visit to Edinburgh.

Absolutely gorgeous and richly atmospheric place. Coffee, tea and all hot drinks are delicious, I heard several other people commenting on how their tea or coffee etc were great when I was there. Very limited seating but if you are solo or in a couple, you may be able to nick a corner! Wonderful range of cakes and pastries, some quite unusual or different from the usual. I can recommend the coffee cake in particular. I also like that you have the option to add a tip when you pay by card.I was lucky enough to get the seat by the window and the photo is the view I got to enjoy during my stay!
