Great selection of walking climbing and outdoor gear at decent prices. Bought a fair bit walking gear from here never had any problems.

Went looking for a pair of trainers and ended up in blacks on the advice of my son, James who works in the store could not of been more helpful and extremely knowledgeable, it was a refreshing change to have the service and consideration for my specific requirements and James could not have been more professional and honest about what would work best for me and he nailed it, I am definitely one happy customer.

I paid £100 pounds in the metro centre store for walking boots. After one walk, the left boot took the skin of my toe, and the side of my foot, I tried to return them a week later as obviously faulty to be met by the biggest jerk I have come across in a long time( the store manager) he refused to accept my return saying I had worn them and it must be my foot that's the problem, he also said I should have wore them in walking round his store, so they will not refund you on any products you buy, I mean surely you have to actually wear them when you get home! avoid this firm and especially this store at all costs, buy the way just seen the same boots online for £77, rip off company

Great customer service today, the guy really helped us choose the correct shoes and he was conscious about money too. We asked about insoles and he gave plenty of explanations about the different sizes.Very happy with the relaxed atmosphere of the shop and the helpful staff.
