Friendly service, in a nice old building, appealing menu, and everything was delicious and served in generous portions. I've only dropped one star as it's a bit on the expensive side (for Lancaster). Or to look at it another way, the food could be a bit more special for the price.

Great wholesome food that only uses local produce to get the best flavour. There is something for everyone here and the service is quick. The chocolate mouse cake is a must try!
