Buchanan Bus Station

UpdateSaturday 15th July 2023Four 9/9a failed to show. Not once did they announce pride parade was on which was affecting Travel. Total lack of information given.As for female in information desk, advised first stop for 77 after bus station was at Kings. Totally wrong she had in fact missed Two stops before this.Staff literally do not care, exceedingly poor customer service.For only Bus Station in Glasgow City, its services are dreadful. After 17.30 no one at information desk, you are told to go onlineDesk should be manned entire tine bus station is open.What if someone required help but have no access to Internet/ do not come from GlasgowThey have closed all information points, utterly disgraceful. You need to get Customer Advisor back on floors/ information and make Glasgow proud. Bus Station is sheer embarrassment

How is it possible that in 2023 you need to pay to use the toilet? Almost every mall, station,etc has the option for a free toilet. Not only that you have to have coins with you, but you arent's allowed to use the card!!! It is a disgrace! Toilets should be a normal facility not a luxury!!!

A Saturday in November and a very long queue round the block for the 900 to Edinburgh (which is possibly to be expected, with xmas coming up). Lots of people had pre-booked seats but no member of staff was commandeering the situation to make sure they boarded first. Travellers were unsure what to do for the best and some missed their bus.None of the staff seem to care (and take any pride) in things running smoothly here. There can be so many people, from Scotland and the world in this busy bus station but there is always just apathy from staff and a See if we care" approach to it all.This bus station is the 1st (negatve) impression of Glasgow that never leaves

Staff are great but why on earth in this day and age does Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow still charge 30p to use the toilets when its free in Scotrail's Central Station.And even then why not have card facilities to pay - this is the 21st Century isn't it?Tourists must be baffled and commuters baffled and angry!

The busses stop at 11? Your stuck in town till 6am.The staff are awful, old dirty looking men

After spending 12 hours travelling you don't expect to pay to go to the loo and have them smell of urine more than the bus toilets... Cheeky cleaner told me he had just cleaned them and continued to point at me for the next half hour while moaning to his colleagues. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying but do expect them to be clean and smell free, is that not why we are charged?

The bus station was generally satisfactory, although it could be slightly perplexing due to the multitude of buses, making navigation a bit challenging. However, once I managed to find my way around, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

Characters galore, as you sit waiting for your bus. 30p charge to use WC facilities. Usual high hike, prices for take away food.
