Brilliant experience, the yard and ponies were very well presented. We went along after purchasing a groupon voucher for my 2 children and they thoroughly enjoyed there first riding lesson. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

I arrived 2 months ago as a new livery with my Icelandic (having moved house 200 miles and knowing no-one). I cannot thank everyone enough for how welcome both Maekja and I have been made to feel. It is a friendly and inclusive yard..I recommend it without reservation. :)

Our daughter has had lessons at Kailzie since Oct 2020 and it‘s been wonderful! All staff have been very welcoming and caring and have included her from the start. She is now a confident rider and is starting to lead hacks. Absolutely brilliant!

During a mini break to Peebles I booked an hour and a half trek. The yard is spotless and very friendly staff. What a beautiful setting through the Cardrona forest and a big thank you to Leah for taking me out. I would recommend and I will return and definitely book in for another trek. Thank you

Great yard and stables. Always tidy and horses look good. Has brought riders confidence on leaps and bounds. Would highly recommend.

We came to Kailzie equestrian for a half hour pony trek. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and made sure the children felt comfortable. The yard is very tidy and you can tell that the horses are well looked after.We'll be back!

My friend and I were at Kailzie for the first time yesterday (Nov 23rd) for a hack. Having read some negative reviews, I wondered what it would be like. I can only say from our experience---it was brilliant! Clearly very well run and the horses all looked in great condition! I LOVED my horse Murren.Gemma took us out and we found her to be very friendly and helpful. We will DEF be back---a great experience!!Jill

I found and read the reviews here after buying a Groupon voucher for my daughter's birthday, so it was with some trepidation that we went along on the day. We were met on arrival by a young lady (Gemma?) who could not have been more helpful - she was the one who gave my daughters their lesson, and she was wonderful at her job. She was patient, encouraging, energetic and my kids loved the lesson. The horses were clean, obviously well cared for and not the unhappy plodding type you sometimes come across in riding centres. Similarly, the yard and stables were all very clean and organised looking.We had a bit of bad luck when we returned to the car and discovered that we'd developed a flat tyre, but Gemma quickly found a knowledgeable stable lad who quickly and cheerfully changed my tyre for me! Perhaps it depends who is there on the day, and the negative reviews do all seem to describe the same person, but in all fairness I have to say our experience at Kailzie was a very positive one indeed.
