It was clean and good service. Friendly and polite people who were handling and they gave me good and honest advice on my hair colour. Would recommend this place. It’s not overly priced.

After 20 years at a previous salon, my fears of trying a different one were completely unnecessary. Love it!! Thank you Nicola!!!

Sarah was BRILLIANT!!! I wasn't even sure of what I wanted and was a little apprehensive as I have long curly asian hair but she very quickly understood the look I wanted and she was absolutely brilliant!!! Also Millie was also absolutely lovely!!! Thank you SO very much!!!

I've taken my 6 year old daughter for a haircut here 5 or 6 times. Not the cheapest but local However on the last visit the old blonde haired stylist just kept saying “oh I cant do this she keeps moving come and hold her head, I cant finish this.” she got very inpatient with my daughter. Its not like they were busy there was no one else in the shop. Very poor attitude with children. Not cheap either at £12 for a trim were generally in and out within 5 minutes.. I certainly wont be going back and wouldn't recommend for anyone thinking of taking their child there. Best avoid!

I had my hair cut and styled by Millie as she required models to practice hair cuts and styling on. Millie was professional, friendly and listened to how I wanted my hair cut and styled.My hair hadn't been cut for some time and I was thrilled with the results. I would highly recommend Millie for your hair requirements.

I live just a few minutes walk from the salon, so I thought I would go in and ask if they would give me a quick trim of the straggly ends at the back of my hair only. Two minutes later I was finished. It cost me £12!!! Three minutes later I was back home. Checked their price list and found that my two minutes trim cost me more than most of the items listed on their price list. I give one star for a nice looking salon.

Really good! Lovely experience and warm welcome. Stylist was excellent and interpreted my very vague idea perfectly. Really pleased with the result. My daughter had her hair done too and was very happy.Will be back.Booked on line, which made life so much easier.

Just very disappointed - I have been here several times over the last five years - initially I found them friendly but soon realised it depends very much on the stylist you see and some of the duff ones can be just down right rude! The crunch came the last time I went - they failed to tell me that the costs had been increased before I had my hair done (I understand that there is a need for price increases and I have no problem with that - but at least mention it before so that I can prepare myself for it!) Next, they charged me a whopping £32 for 10-15 minutes of their time to do a wash, cut and blow dry! I felt completely cheated out of my money - the wash was a quick shampoo and rinse and the stylist must have taken a cm off as I was trying to grow it out at the time and the blow dry was literally the hair dryer and her hand passing through my hair. I understand that prices are rising all the time and the cost of overheads goes up too but I still expect value for money - unfortunately this isn't the case at The Salon.Reply to the owner's post - found you on here and felt it was only fair to have my say on how I found your poor service. Have you improved since then? Because from the comments on here it would appear that you haven't.

Folks, this salon & stylists listen to their customer's! My story is, haven't been to salon in years, why? Because in the past nobody listens to what the customer is saying!! Today, in salon I had a brilliant experience, from time of arrival to time of leaving. The staff listen, & customer's are satisfied,, My hair looks&feels great. I left the salon feeling years younger, thank to the staff.
