H&M

Visited H&M Portsmouth today. Went in the changing rooms to try some clothes on for a new job and Marianne was working in there. She really helped me with the clothing swaps, getting other sizes and suggestions on other outfits. She went out of her way to help me and in the end helped us to get a discount from checking our email on the app! What a valuable worker who went above and beyond. Thank you Marianne! Xx

Great selection of clothes for my teen daughter. Store could do with some thought re wheelchair access especially by the tills but staff were really helpful.

Terrible service last Saturday. I was queuing for my item and I was told to go out of the que and pay for my item at self service. I did as I was told and then the next 3 shops I went in the security alarms went off. I then find a security tag attached to the hoodie. I had to return to the cashier and she ignored me and served 2 other people instead. Luckily the gentleman behind the counter asked me what I needed and helped me sort it. I did not even think about the item having a tag on, especially as the cashier had told me to go to self service, where she the ‘expert’ would of known exactly what was going to happen. She was rude, lazy and exceptionally poor. I will not name her because I do not like to leave someone’s name on the internet for years to come from what is a silly mistake but she needs to get her act together and have some empathy for customers (paying customers that pay her wages). I will not be returning to the store again.

Clean shop. Not many staff. More for the ladies and not much section for male children. Found it difficult to find anything for a male 12 year old. 10% off if you sign up for a card. Escalator not working. Hopefully now fixed. Was not busy and seemed a bit dark in there.

Nice to have a real shop where you can try things on - there aren't many left in Portsmouth. Very helpful assistant in the fitting rooms. A limited range for me (sixty-something male) but I did buy some socks. :-)

Hate self service tills and ended up putting goods down and walking out. If I wanted to work in a clothes shop and serve customers, I'd apply to work there! Why should I do the job for free and when there's an issue with the till, have to wait twice as long and still not have issue resolved.Keep it, H&M

Closing fitting rooms an hour before closing time. Left work early specifically to go here and was very disappointed. They didn‘t even communicate this via speakers beforehand. Could have hurried up or avoided making an useless trip altogether!

Great. As fast fashion goes. It does feel like h&m recognise their impact and are actively doing something about it. Reliable staples dropped in to see if we could get some cargo trousers for my son. Ended up getting a few extra things. They fit well and didn't break the bank.

Good range of clothes, if you are a fan of H&M you already know. Sadly, as always, not a massive range of mens clothing, but that's always the way I guess

Visited Fri 3rd November and have to say a fantastic staff member really went above and beyond to help with an issue with changing room for my son which was really appreciated, a real asset to the store. I think they were called Marianne maybe.
