Manor House Hotel

We were only there 1 night but everyone was polite, friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy.

DO NOT STAY HERE! CON PEOPLE OUT OF MONEYWhen we first arrived we were shown our room and asked at the door how it was we told them it looked okay, we had not even been in the room yet to check. When going into the room there were large cracks on the walls, the bed smelt like cigarettes, there were burn marks and stains on a shelve above the bed and the cushions had marks on them from dirt, the quilt had marks on it and smelt dirty. As someone who does not like confrontation I did not want to say to much as I was only there for the night doing an experience tour. I could not stay there due to the conditions so had to book a travel lodge an hour away. When making a complaint and emailing the manager I was told that I will not recieve a refund because it would have been hard for me to find a room like that in London on a Saturday and that they could have given me a deluxe room which I would not have wanted due to the conditions the other room was in and because I should have complained to the staff at the time, but being on a tight schedule and not knowing my way around London I did not have time to do this. I am now £60 down and being refused a refund. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, definitely has the rating it has because of how it is. Probably the worst hotel in London. Book elsewhere as they just want your money and do not care about the standards of the hotel.Will never stay here again!

Going to be honest, wasn't sure what to expect, budget hotels in London can be very hit or miss.Got to the Manor House, I was shattered, I walked into a nice reception area, greeted by a very friendly chap, when he heard I was working nights, he offered me a different room, although a bit smaller, it was much cooler, it's been home for the better part of this week.My room was lovely and clean, with crisp white linen, just felt at home immediately.All the staff have been really friendly, can't help enough.My litmus test is, would I bring my wife here? Yes, with out a doubt.In addition, there is a nice lounge out the back, with kitchen facilities alongside.

NOT RECOMMENDED Not value for money. Dust, mould in the shower, pillow not usable, evident water spillage in the wall and ceiling of the room. Sink so small that you cannot wash the face. Total lack of maintenance.

Good budget hotel on the outskirts of London. The staff were really friendly and helpful. You do get what you pay for however; whilst the room was mainly clean and tidy, there were areas of damp and mould growing on the walls, and the room was quite small, but ultimately a bed is a bed, and one could still enjoy a good night's sleep.

Great little hotel in east London, reasonably priced, comfy beds in a quiet part of leyton/leytonstone. 10 min walk to the tube and 15 to leyton high street, off road free car parking and a 24 hour reception desk with friendly staff on hand to ask questions.

Good location and passable rooms but it's best feature are the helpful and nice people working there.

Excellent value for money. Friendly staff and the owner is extremely helpful who went out of his way for us. Good transport links within walking distance.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, spacious lounge with a garden to chill about in, kitchen facilities available. Good for families. Came here for the weekend with the family.
