To start with. As soon as we walked in there were restocking trolleys dumped everywhere so we struggled to see anything of the shelves. Secondly the toilets were disgusting and needed a good clean, NO BABY CHANGING table in any of the toilets. When asked where I could change my sons nappy I got told to go somewhere else. Then staff member walked off. No offer of even using a slab of cardboard. In the end I had to put my son on my coat on the floor in the disabled toilets.Also the costa coffee machine wasn't working. This place needs shuting down and a full revamp is needed.

Called for petrol late last night. As I approached, I was looking at the pumps searching for the correct fuel type for my vehicle. When I pulled up, I noticed a cone near by to the pumps but checked all pumps were in full working order, no restrictions and I easily parked next to the pumps.Filled up and went to pay at the window.I was ‘greeted’ with “did you not see the cone?” “Yes” , I replied. “But all is in working order so I used the pumps”.“I’ll get into trouble if my manager sees you’ve used those pumps”What???SHELL if you don’t want customers to use certain pumps (for reasons only known to you), how about clearly blocking the pumps with lots of cones and putting large clear signs to say why the pumps should not be used - even though they are in full working order.I’m not a mind reader!!!!Its no concern of mine however, I’ll drive on next time and buy fuel somewhere else rather than be insulted for doing nothing wrong!!!

Crazy expensive food and not great quality, toilets were disgusting, staff unhelpful. Won’t be back

The deli bit had some surpringly nice sausage rolls at 3 for 2. Yay. And the lady behind the counter was smiley and helpful

Decent sized Shell garage next to the A1 where you can buy petrol, diesel & an overpriced Costa breakfast.

Most disgusting toilets I have been to in a service station. Horrible

Got petrol, expensive compared to local petrol stations where in I live in Nottingham but was expected. Friendly staff, gloves available to help keep you safe whilst refilling and they have a toilet that you can use also.

Toilets were absolutely disgusting,there was no toilet paper in the gents,the gents absolutely stank of urine,I went to the disabled toilet,again no toilet paper .there was a dirty nappy and toilet paper on the floor with liquid soaking the floor.tje staff didn't seem to give a toss when I explained there was no toilet roll.cannot express my anger enough.

What the point in saying ur a services yet don’t let us in to have a pee! Ended up at McDonald’s down the road at lest they a good service stop area !
