Having used dignity (3rd party company) to arrange collection of our dog. I requested photographic evidence the right dog was collected. Message I received from dignity was our two staff members in all their years

Couldn't recommend this vet practice more! I was worried that as a chain it might not have the highest level service, however, the team are so friendly and welcoming.Special thanks to the vet called Tjitske as she has been so helpful with our dog Pluto who has some behavioural issues. I really feel like she takes the time to explain things and took our concerns regarding Pluto's behavioural issues seriously. We have found in the past that some vets haven't been helpful with the behaviour side of things or didn't take our concerns seriously so we're very impressed and grateful - thank you!!

We had our GSD spayed on 17th and was looked after from the start, during and end when we came back to collect her after her procedure. We had Sophie, the vet nurse take care of of us and our dog. With regular communications throughout the day, all key information was explained to us and aftercare followed by a post op check up on Monday. Never had a bad experience, all staff professional and considerate. A lovely small practise that remembers you and your dogs. Thanks again Sophie, glad our dog had you looking after her.

My dog had a procedure done yesterday after ringing the vets the day before (initially booked in for next week) as his symptoms had gotten worse, the staff were able to see him a week beforehand. Vet Nurse Sofia was absolutely fantastic, empathetic and sympathetic. Sofia put me at ease and because of that, my dog became slightly less anxious and eventually allowed Sofa to stroke him. She spoke in a very gentle way towards him. Vet Miss Schouwstra explained thoroughly the out cone of the procedure and was prompt at ringing with results. All staff involved were friendly, caring. Thank you.

Took our 8 month old puppy to be spayed yesterday as a new customer. I had a negative experience with another vets in Basingstoke and had read the reviews for Medivet and honestly, I wasn't disappointed.You can just tell they care, and have the best interest of the animal at heart. They explained everything so well, kept me up to date on her progress, reassured me and ensured they followed up on her recovery today. The whole team there are just wonderful and while my little puppy was very scared and nervous at the whole experience, I came away knowing she was looked after and given the best care possible. This is honestly the best veterinary practice I have ever used. All the staff are all so friendly from the minute you walk in, it's a nice small team and it feels like they really make the effort to know you and your pets. Although a small team we have never had any issues getting an appointment and they always go above and beyond to accommodate our highly anxious dog.Our vet Tjitske really knows her stuff when it comes to animal behaviour issues and has been a blessing when it came to getting our anxious boy the help he needs. His separation anxiety is much improved between the medical care from Tjitske and our behaviourist, he is also so much better on walks and around other dogs. If you have an anxious dog I can't recommend these guys enough.

Brilliant service and down to earth staff. I am glad I registered my two cats with Medivet. I appreciate all you continue to do for my cats. Thank you all and keep the good work.

I cannot recommend Medivet in Basingstoke (and their 24 hour hospital in Wokingham) highly enough. Our 5 year old Italian Spinone (Brian) recently needed an urgent operation for urethra and bladder stones. From the initial emergency consultation through the operation to the post operative recovery, the care he received was excellent. We were consulted at every stage of his treatment and updated on a regular basis whilst he recovered (5 days) in hospital. It is clear how much all the staff at Medivet care for the animals they look after and we know that Brian could not have been in safer or more caring hands.

Super friendly and helpful receptionist, and great advice from the vet.
