Boots Opticians...I took my own frame from my spare pair of glasses, which was brand new, to use for the new glasses. The frame had a price of £240. Turns out it would only save me £20 to use my own frame, which is shocking and ridiculous, as all my glasses over the last decade have been sold to me by Boots and Boots only. This means my lenses would cost me £450.Boots, you should really be ashamed of the lack of aupport you offer during such difficult times.You also have no understanding or ways of dealing with customers with severe anxiety, first using someone with seemingly little knowledge, hurting my face in the process of using all those metal frames and lenses to test vision, then sending us away for 2 days with the thought of a shadow" behind one of my eyes

A little cramped store. Products may be limited. Friendly and helpful staff. Pre-booked drugs are collected with effortless ease.

Went into boots to get another pair of prescription glasses from optitican. Felt overwhelmed with choice until Leslie came over. Her patience, knowledge and excellent customer service was second to none. Well done Leslie

Consistent bad service. There is rarely any smile on any of staff's face. On one occasion, the pharmacist refused to sell me a hydrocortisone 1% cream despite me telling her that I used it before to treat my eczema. Today they wouldn't honor the half price discount for Simple sheet masks which was clearly displayed on the shelf. When I mentioned it to the staff at the till, she completely ignored me and wasn't even apologetic for the mistake they made.

A few weeks ago staff in the opticians were very kind and helpful in processing a prescription and new glasses for me in a hurry. I was home from Madrid for a week and they really did their best for me to get everything ready before I left Blackpool. My glasses are great in the end as well (in case the staff are reading!)

Typical boots, security guards stand round, someone removed items in front if in pocket and out of door, alarm sounded, guards did not move! Asked a member of staff they said daily occurance of shop lifter,
