I travel a lot and stay in hotels all the time. This is a big hotel with a gym and bar and a restaurant. The breakfast is good but basic nevertheless fairly priced.The standard rooms are soooo small. It doesn't feel comfortable. My mattress felt like it was 100 years old. It had body impression, I was sleeping in a whole. Definitely not a good thing! The hotel does not provide body lotion???Good service otherwise, professional but not friendly.

The location of this hotel was great for the purpose of my visit and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There was a very good choice of food at breakfast (not included in price). My room was clean apart from a stained carpet. It was very basic and did not offer a choice of teas, which you find in most hotels, including cheaper ones as well as B&B's. The washbasin became blocked on first usage due to faulty plug.However, the room was very cold and despite letting the concierge know, nothing changed. I had no heating at all and cold air was blowing into the room. I was aware that at least two other guests had made the same complaint.

Lovely customer service, especially the Front Office Staff and Concierge Team who welcomed us so warmly. The room is standard size for a londo hotel, the location is everything, just 5 mins walk to and from the tube station, walking distance to High Street shops, and there's a nearby bus stop too. We stayed here for 2 days, and the hotel was pretty busy with corporate and leisure clients, but their service is efficient. They have a nice temperature control pool, and decent size wellness centre. Breakfast was great. Check out was smooth, thanks to Georgina and Andri and the rest of the Holiday Inn team. Will definitely recommend this hotel!

Five minute walk from the high street and tube.Fantastic water pressure in the shower and hot too.The heating works well but disappeared quickly which made the room real cold, real quick.The room was snug but fine for one person.A ten out of ten for the pillows and the bed. I stay in a lot of hotels but finally found one with a good mattress and amazing pillows which have a soft AND a hard side.

The hotel had issues checking everyone in due to power issues. The Staff was helpful. The room was very nice. The shower, not great. The housekeeping staff outstanding! Largest breakfast buffet I have ever seen and delicious. The health club was nice but I signed up for yoga in the garden and the instructor didn't turn up and the staff knew nothing about it and didn't try to help.

We visited the spa here and it was lovely! My friend and I had a Facial for the Back" treatment which was fantastic and very relaxing! Jacuzzi was way too small but the facilities were decent and clean.For the price

Holiday Inn London - Kensington High St., an IHG Hotel
This was my first time going to the Holiday Inn, I was invited to a Caribbean dinner & dance by a friend. It was such a lovely evening, the staff were really accommodating, friendly and very professional. They had a wide variety of foods which were delicious and mouth watering. They had a steel band for part of the evening, also limbo dancing which some of the guest enjoyed themselves. There was a lady DJ who played a mix of different music which was great. We had a fabulous time from the beginning until the end. I'd definitely go again and recommend anyone else too. I give them 5 stars.

Tour groups should know they will be put in bathroom sized rooms. If you are on the first floor, count on strongly smelling smoked in rooms. The higher up, the better. Breakfast is lovely. The security is good. I am still a bit concerned about the childlike scribble in permanent marker on our mirrors... Hope it wasn't an appeal for help. Otherwise fine.

Poor privacy, security and management!! A staff tried entering my room during my stay with card key before 9 am. He did not stop doing it even we shouted to him in the room!! And he did not explain anything about his unexpected and extremely unusual behavior if it is an emergency. As a hotel staff, he at least should know whether room is occupied or not. It is absolutely none sense for him to open the door in early morning in that case! Have reflected this issue to the reception staff and also emailed to duty manager. Nothing proper reply from the hotel so far, and it has been almost one week.

I’m used to larger hotel rooms/suites. I’m staying here not living here. This is perfect to sleep and shower. Some rooms you can barely walk around the bed to get to the closet or window but I don’t need more than a clean comfortable bed and a hot shower.It’s close to everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful for what I’ve ever needed to ask for.Breakfast buffet has a good selection of milks for coffee and cereal (oat, almond, coconut) and even a gluten free area with your own toaster. This is huge to a celiac. Hosts are attentive to keeping everything stocked and clean.I’d recommend staying here to anyone who asks.
