Carpetright

Absolutely abysmal. Avoid this company. I have had issues ongoing since being flagged to their attention on the 26th September.They levelled my floor ready to fit LVT - they contracted out a cowboy to perform this and completely ruined my subfloor. He artificially created a highpoint in my flooring (Image 1) only for the manager to claim it was my floor underneath that was high - this is incorrect (image 2). I was livid with this claim as i had inspected the floor previously. I was also told that the screed would not be able to be lifted or come back up due to the cowboy who screed the floor claiming it is a power floated floor" - another lie. Not only do i have the design documents for the house

We had such a lovely experience in the Bridgend branch today. The entire staff were so kind and helpful and really went above and beyond with their customer service, they made mine and my toddlers' week! Will be recommending them to all friends and family in future. Thank you again!

Had a great experience at the Bridgend store.Member of staff Claire was experienced and knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect flooring for my kitchen at an affordable price. Great customer service!

BE CAREFULL OF THEIR SCAMMING FITTERSThe carpet is great, however I never received any paperwork via email and my partner mislaid the physical copy. In the showroom we agreed the fitting would be £68.50, however when it was installed the fitters demanded £88.50 and said that was what it was. We paid it because having two intimidating men demand money isn't exactly fun. We eventually found the paperwork which confirmed we were correct and that the email address we gave in the showroom was misspelt, hence why we didn't get any paperwork. I know if they respond to this message, they will say fitters are subcontractors and not their responsibility, but they do need to pick them carefully.

We had a tight deadline, needed a carpet fitted in 1 day! Was told this is mission impossible by several other big branded names! Earliest SCS could do 1 room fitted carpet was 3 weeks! Went to Bridgend carpetright, and was blown away by the customer service. No hard sale! But very very helpful! Nothing was too much trouble, even showed us new stock which just arrived. And said if we got it in stock on the roll, they could fit it next day! Winner winner! They helped us choose our carpet by showing us the difference a good underlay feels like to the feet and carpet combined.Just want to give a big thanks to Nicola and the installation team! Job well done!Great price too!We had it fitted, old carpet taken away, and new underlay.Thanks again!

Went there and bought a new bed excellent service and staff was amazing especially Claire , really pleased with our purchase deginately go back to the Bridgend store. Highly recommend them. Thank you Claire for your helping us choose. the right bed for us.

Apparently the store are now under new management and I had no issues with my order. I got a good deal on an off-cut and they fitted me in quickly for fitting.On the morning of fitting the guys called me to let me know what time they would arrive as promised, they turned up on time, were very friendly and accommodating and fitted the carpet perfectly.No issues for me from start to finish.

Absolutely shambolic experience at the hands of carpetright Bridgend. Had flooring for whole house fitted (carpet, vinyl, laminate).Carpet - main bedroom measured incorrectly so no carpet in main bedroom for 2 weeksVinyl - carpetright recommended to have ply fitted underneath so paid agreed and paid. Vinyl then fitted without ply so had to be ripped up and refitted 2 weeks laterLaminate - gaps opening up between pieces of vinylAgreed an amount of compensation with previous manager but new manager not willing to honour this. Attitude is generally condescending and completely unsympatheticStaff in store were helpful and friendly but so many errors and now being extremely obstructive in terms of compensatingThe one star is for the staff in store who were helpful but don’t be lulled into a false sense of securityAvoid

Went in today to see about future carpets due to the fact the home is currently under renovation, Nicola was extremely helpful and her attention to detail and customer service was amazing. I will defiantly be coming back when the renovations are complete to order with her. Thank you again Nicola!
