Food is nice but the portion size is abysmal, dont expect to still be hungry after paying £17 for a jumbo cod" and extra large bag of chips.Fish was tiny easily a small or regular anywhere else

Spoke to Jude when ordered. So polite and efficient knew all the dishes. I asked for extra garlic, usually from other places don't get. With Jude she was just amazing. What I ordered especially the pizzas were amazing definitely recommend Silksworth Gills. Fast and hot delivery 10 out of 10

I’m in Cambridge and me mother is in Sunderland and as she is elderly and can’t walk far she said she wanted fish and chips so I ordered a delivery for her from Gills,ok it took a while for delivery but it was worth waiting for she said…best fish and chips she’s had in a long time,beautiful haddock and chips with salad so I’d just like to say thank you Gills for making my mother happy with a excellent fish and chips and I will be using your fish shop next time I’m up the north east……

Been meaning to write a review for here for ages. I ordered the large cod and chips from here on Friday and it was excellent as usual. Food must be cooked to order as it's always piping hot on arrival. Have also tried the battered sausage which was good and a cheese pattie which was absolutely huge and tasty.Have used them since January this year and wouldnt go anywhere else for a chip shop delivery, keep up the good work.
