We recently bought a new build property and initially were going to do our own snag list to provide to our builder.After realising the enormity of the task at hand to an untrained eye, we decided to look for a professional snagger and found Midlands Snagging Inspections to be local to us and very competitively priced.After speaking to Tom to arrange the date and time of the snagging report, we were told that we would be required to pay after the snagging had been done at the property and were able to pay via cash or card on the day, which suited us also.Tom arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful upon arrival, explaining the process that he would be going through and answering many of our questions with plenty of detail and in a way that was easy for us to understand given our level of knowledge.Throughout the process Tom remained in contact with us regarding what was being found at the property and explained how NHBC guidelines help to formulate the standards to which he is inspecting the property, this is due to the property development being under NHBC guidelines and therefore gave us reasons to give to our builder as to why the snags were being picked up.After the process in and outside of the house had been completed, Tom summarised what he had found and showed us thermal imaging photographs of the property as well as individual photographs taken of every snag, that were then compiled into a list with descriptions of each and every detail.This list was then provided to us in a full report within 24 hours, which we then handed onto our builder as our official snagging report.Thanks to Tom's expertise there were multiple flaws discovered that we would not have found on our own and to be quite honest would not have known to look for.In terms of value for money we could not be more happy with what we have received from this company.We have received support and advice from Tom, after the process, in regards to what to expect the property developer to do about the issues found and without his knowledge again we would have been in a far weaker position.I cannot recommend Midlands Snagging Inspections highly enough as without their services there would have been many issues that we were not aware of and would not have known to look for.Thank you for the excellent service provided.

Top Service and Highly Recommended. We moved into a new build after Christmas and asked Tom to do an inspection for us. He was there for 5 to 6 hours and thoroughly checked the house internally and externally. He provided us with a detailed report the following day with pictures. These are things we would have never picked up if it wasn't for an expert and a professional like Tom. My advise to anyone buying a new build is to get Tom to do an inspection its worth every penny.
