Gorgeous location and interior decor is lovely. Great welcome by staff. Food choice is good with prices not excessive. Welsh produce used. Was very cols when I visited, but think therewas a heating issue. Would recommend

The way the menu is written and presented you feel that the food is going to be something special. The fact is it’s just not. Pricey yet basic garlic bread which was dry and lacked taste. The chips and peas were poor and boring. The fish was cooked well but again lacked flavour. Our table was half cleared before the waitresses gave up and left the other plates with us and 10-12 glasses piling up on our table.Nice atmosphere and ambience. Great decor and location. Nice toilets and choice of music.

My partner and I treated the parents to an evening meal, and we chose wisely! Hadn't been here before, but we had walked past and found the menu interesting; like nice homely food but with a higher quality and of course, a Welsh theme. It was absolutely delicious! We had some sharers to start - the cheese Welsh cakes were gorgeous, and the bread was also an ideal start with a good portion - enough for four to try and keep us happy until the mains arrived. Mains and dessert were also lovely. The waiting staff were attentive and really helpful, so we had a lovely evening all round. Will definitely be going back!

Eat there last night for the first time with family and the restaurant did not disappoint. Comfortable slightly quirky layout and from furniture to the atmosphere it is really nice and spotlessly clean.We all went with 2 courses off the Seasonal Menu with various choices across the three of us and not one of them disappointed, from quality of food served to the quantity (more than enough, and I was starving).Great way to round off my Daughters graduation, thanks guy's.Regards

Seen a few comments about slow service, but it was actually nice not to be rushed and not have food rushed to the table within 10mins after ordering. I'd like to think cooked fresh to order was the reason and it wasn't a long wait at all. Staff attentive and friendly and the food was great, will definitely be back to try Sunday lunch... Just to add we chose to tip, but the waitress mentioned the service charge was optional when presenting the bill (only mentioning due to previous comments, so looks like they take reviews seriously).
